Getting a bit nostalgic here. There are 5468 posts in this thread now. I started this thread almost 6 years ago and it's still going! I was thinking of compiling all the movies & shows mentioned in the thread into one big post. but that would require quite a bit of work. Maybe when I feel crazy I will still do this to celebrate the 5500'th post or it's 6th anniversary on the 27th of July.

The multiplayer is quite entertaining actually. It's a very decent co-op shooter. The only thing lacking is variation in the scenarios. Just give it a try. It's really easy to boost your galactic readyness to 100% with just a few matches. Playing on Gold is really a challenge. Even when you've got 3 friends to play with and work together it's no guarantee for success. Which makes it all the better when you do manage to win a gold round Don't dismiss it out of hand because of the freemium stuff. You earn enough in game cash to get all the extra weapons & characters you'll need.

I was there last summer! I walked around some of the places in that first video. Sadly I was a bit tired from the 2 weeks I had before (New York, Washington, Grand canyon, Las Vegas) so I didn't really get to enjoy San Fransisco as much as I wanted to. I did manage to meet up with Doug Tabacco & Metallus which was nice I'm gonna try to make up for it this year, though.

I would so be all over this historical game! Imagine a game set in 17th century Amsterdam. Where you play a rich trader. buying/selling VOC stock. building up your trading empire. Sail in wood from Scandinavia, spices from Indonesia. Totally awesome. And educational!

The last season of breaking bad ratcheted the pressure up to insane levels and you just wait for the nuke to go of. The music in this last season has been superb in helping build up that pressure.

I saw three movies this weekend: 1) The muppets Fun movie which captures the muppetshow perfectly. I especially liked how they played with the 4th wall. :tup: 2) The adventures of Tin Tin. Great looking 3D movie that really brings the comic to live. 3) Midnight in Paris. More entertaining than I expected. I like how there is no technical explanation for his :tup:
