Emma of Mojo and TSB community fame passed along this letter to everyone ever from the editor of UK PC Gamer: It sounds a bit like a massive call for help since they're neither as popular nor as, er, Edgey as they'd like to be, but haven't got the staff to do it or something. But its definitely a noble idea, and I think its a cool that they've put it out there. Does anyone expect to see any major changes in PCG UK over the next few months? Probably not, but I like that they're giving it a thought.

Yes yes hi Emma I was just being a twit. Why is this thread still active?

Whatttt? How often do you come across things like that. Oh also, the abandonned train car is about 150 feet from a lake with a lone dying boat and rotten dock, which is next to a camp site complete with rusted up 50s refrigerator, crazy altar carved into the tree for some reason (which contained an open bag of balloons??), and machete wedged into the wooden picnic table, and that's just next to a 20 year old camper trailer which had a chainsaw in it when he bought the property. Clearly we had no choice. -
Okay yeah maybe I lied and its near impossible to play, but it rules that it exists at all.

Just the general moodiness and architecture and stuff seems a lot .... more lame. Less realistic. E3 will reveal, no? .. or is HL2 not at E3? At least there are still some shots coming out with the attention to detail that made people fly around the room last year.

Booooo I know its old news but it rules. I should ban those fark-style "image replies" from this forum somehow... or... :ratchet:

Yeah. TJ&E 3. Its vastly inferior however, despite its use of the same Genesis-esque gameplay.

As long as it constantly has phrases like "As seen in the recent film, Hollow Man, ..." and "for instance, in Hollow Man...".

realizing you've spent the last three days at work more or less chewing on metal objects, possibly at one point chewing through the galvinized erm galvination on the outside of a few large-sized paperclips. Hopefully I won't get cancer or something like that.

Ive volunteered for the 1st and/or 2nd, the only days before E3 that I may have any time (forgive me Thumbs!). We'll see if they're doing weekend work...

Yes yes, and all fonts should be McBoing Boing, but you don't see me spending all day complaining about it.

I wonder if Kingz is replying to this thread... edit damn, missed it by like 10 seconds.

I liked that it was easy. It wasn't so easy that you were just walking from place to place but it wasn't so hard that I was unable to progress (up to where I am now, which is right before the Slaughterhouse - yes I know Chris, I need to beat the game). I also liked that it had actual characters in it instead of "random action guy #3561, and random boobs #43721" or whatever. Thats my biting criticism.

... is my $35 DVD player, which the Internet revealed could be easily modified via a remote control code to become region-free, and can convert from PAL to NTSC. I've spent the last two evenings watching the first series of Spaced. Is the second series out on DVD yet?
