Yeah, as much as I disliked the whole "HD Era!" angle J Allard was using while pitching all of the Xbox 360 stuff at GDC this year, I couldn't help myself from appreciating the steps forward Microsoft was taking with the unified dashboard and customization features on the 360. I know huge percentages of the features were included mainly as new revenue streams that will then be marketed back to gamers as "something cool you've always wanted" (eg: paying actual money billed to your Live account to buy a new set of rims for your car in a racing game, surely a feature I've always wanted in a title), but some of the stuff was really nice.

Er right... but let's just pretend for example you took the hard drive out of the Mac mini. That's an utterly tiny computer, a sliver of the size of the xbox 360. If Apple can do that I'm sure Microsoft engineers have pulled off what the 360 is.

Its amazing what you can do in terms of space efficiency when you build something that's designed to only work one way and not be opened and fiddled with by tinkering amateurs.

I always hoped Nintendo would adknowledge us Westerners and include Captain N in a Smash Bros game, but it didn't happen in Melee and I doubt we'll see him in whatever the inevitable Revolution version is either

Actually Chris is a graphics whore who doesn't actually care if the game is good at all. He's been playing EQ2 since the day it shipped, and, now that he's finally got it back, is planning on finally adding 4 or 5 neon lights and a tiger-skin styled shag carpet to his PC's case.

Yeah aside from the "you can't beat it unless you do everything according to one very set path" bug, it was really really cool. BS1 for GBA made me wish Lucas would consider something similar, but I don't think they see it as a potential moneymaker even on the current handhelds, so ... shed a little invisible tear for that I guess.

I walked into my local GameStop today and got a copy of Xbox Psychonauts and the cheezy free tshirt without even preordering. A once in a lifetime experience I think. I traded in some old games and got the whole thing for $15 too. Super deal!

It's a bit inevitable when a sizeable part of the staff (and readership) comes from Mixnmojo and Adventure Gamers... also it's a pretty good game. Don't know if you'll like it though You seem to have very specific tastes sometimes.
