It probably would have had to be a multi-disc release on the cube (or a shit port), which is yet another stupid hassle.
-
I never knew how involved he was or anything, but always suspected that some of the initial sequel plans may have been hatched by Gilbert before he left.
-
I think gilbert gets co-credited for DOTT's concept and "additional game design" in the DOTT opening credits along with his "based on characters by" credit... something like that.

Gamecube It can't cook waffles. Or play DVDs. Time for some Smash Bros.

Psychonauts on Gamecube Though I love my Gamecube I'm glad Double Fine didn't waste time on a port.
-
apparently this is a web forum! also why are you cribbing from double fine action news to write on and on needlessly about the gamecube in a thread specifically dedicated to 15 word reviews, yufster??

Your phone also seems to always run out of batteries the moment you leave Berkeley city limits. So that's one drawback.

Nokia has definitely been putting out a lot of shit in the last few years. After the simplicity of that one model whose number esapes me but you know, the one that everyone had for like all of 2001-2 or so, they just went retarded. I don't particularly care about mobile phones though. I got an acceptable one at a super discount rate and I'm happy.

No they don't. Well, they can, but that doesn't mean they do by definition.

Half Life 2 Best theme park ride I've ever had the pleasure of playing.

"I kill you" came from psychonauts? I hadn't heard that line in Psychonauts when I suggested that title to Chris... Maybe Schafer stole it from us. Clearly that's most likely what happened - more likely than us coming up with those 3 words independently at least.

Maybe as a pig-man Pey'j is immune

I'm sure Joss put those title cards in there himself too, and it was in no way the doing of the studio to try and raise hype for the film.

I wasn't a very big fan of the games theme of "turning the evil cutesy into eXtreme hardcore!!!" but it looked alright.

I've only spent about 20 minutes playing VB in my life (in various store and game rental stores when it came out) and it had no effect on me other than my wondering if it was really as gimmicky as it seemed. I still wanted one though of course

or, the equally uninspiring also reminds me a bit of Timmy, but I don't think this is a well-remembered a reference... That's from when Mystery Science Theater tried to be edgier and relate to todays youth - they had an evil dark Crow show up and be totally badass until he was thrown through an airlock. I got it tattooed on my left shoulderblade and bought more dark colored belts after that episode aired.

Gahhhhh! The best part about the characters in Wind Waker was how expressive/emotive and full of personality they were! He has clearly seen a different version of the new Gamecube Zelda than I have (well obviously since he's working on the game) - because from the trailer they showed at GDC the new one looked more wooden and soulless than most any Nintendo game on the Cube.

It's number ten! (also contains discussion of Bad Day LA, and the city of LA)

Trep you're talking about something totally different than the point of this thread.... Maybe you should start a new thread about it?? -
There will always be the purist who wants compelling gameplay wrapped inside well formed characters, visuals, and storytelling - it's not going to happen. We want to continue to dillute what made the first game good by upping the amount of black (and tribal tattoos!) on the screen at any given moment, upping the gritty forced trash talk, and definitely up the amount of characters in metal thongs - and we will.

Well fine, but I still shed a tear for curious almost 2D enthusiastically animated young link. Fortunately his spirit lives on in Razputin.

He does the bobby zilch dance if you let him idle sometime right after ranking up or getting a scavenger item

Stupid Nintendo chore-chart. My brother and I worked around the house for what seemed like ages to get the Nintendo, but in reality it was probably just a couple weeks.
