Btw, I don't see the option to disable the GUI post editor. In the old software you could do all the formatting by hand, which I found useful because the GUI kept fucking up quotes and stuff.
There's this, but overall I've found this editor to be a lot more reliable.

Paper Mario Color Splash seems to require it, as much as I wish it didn't.

Wasn't me, I assume Jake or someone was poking around setting forum icons.

Oh yeah, I changed the default size, but it only affects new ones. I'll run a rebuild of post content to see if it'll resize existing ones down to the new limit.

Should be fixed now, I think.
3 hours ago, Twig said:(It annoys me ever-so-slightly that pressing enter does Two new lines, instead of just the one line, like it used to. I can press shift+enter to get the old behavior, but if there's a preference somewhere to change that, I'd be happy. Mostly just because it's so ingrained into me to double-tap the enter key!)
Yeah agreed. Should be back to the old behavior now.

I would assume it'll notify you in-browser of new messages, etc. while you're browsing? We didn't write the forum software, so I can't really answer questions about its feature roadmap.

My eyes are naturally drawn to the (not that useful) dark tags instead of the light blue texts in the list of topics. That is not a big issue, though.
Yeah the themes aren't done yet, those are waiting on Jake and Chris to roll through.

Also, thanks for the upgrade, Doug!
I upped it to 100kb, let me know if that's better.

Actually it looks like it was disabled, but I just re-enabled it.

Actually, there's a space missing between Location and the words that follow, right here to the left <--
Fixed!

I'm not sure I see what you're asking about... Can you grab a screenshot?

Hey everyone, as you can probably see we've (finally) upgraded to the latest release of our forum software. A few things will have changed, and I've made a few notes here:
- If you previously had a display name that was separate from your login name, you'll find that they've now been merged and your old display name is now the only username for your account. You can also log in with your email address now, if that's easier.
- As of when I'm posting this, there's a job running to reindex all existing content in the forum for the new version. Until it finishes, you may see some weirdness around the forums. Notably, bbcode that isn't being displayed correctly, broken search, and so on. These should resolve themselves over the next several hours as the index job runs.
- There's no longer a mobile theme, the new software uses a responsive design instead.
- The header art and some of the styling is a bit messed up at the moment, because I am not a frontend person. Chris and Jake will hopefully be along shortly to make them look less terrible.
Thanks for bearing with us through the downtime tonight, and hopefully the newer software is a smoother and more modern experience for everyone

The worst is when restaurant websites use the hamburger menu, which then contains an item called 'Menu'. Doubly so if that menu includes hamburgers.

Ooh, an opportunity to link to https://twitter.com/shitduosays

We went to a very good sandwich place not far away called Cora this morning and liked it very much. Possibly worth a shot if you're looking for a nice sandwich for not a ton of money. Also, I might have a problem with those FEBO cheese puffs now.

We actually checked out the eye institute (the outside anyway) via the ferry last night. It was a nice spot to sit and eat some cheese (though technically any spot can be nice if you're eating cheese at it). We also tried Toastable this morning-ish for ~breakfast, and really enjoyed it.

I discovered I was taking a major performance hit by running the game in a non-display-native resolution, in case that's at all helpful.

It's almost always better to let the OS manage CPU scheduling. Especially with something that's almost certain to be CPU-intensive like a game.

Video Jamestown.
Probably the nickname of Spaff's apartment.

Thursday night you should check out the Exploratorium. It's a hands-on science museum that's normally very crowded with kids, but Thursday nights they're adults-only, so it's very crowded with adults instead. But it's fun and there're bars and sometimes special events. This is the third Thursday of the month, which is when they often have extra demos and things, as opposed to just being open normally: http://www.exploratorium.edu/visit/calendar/after-dark/7-28-2016

Act IV is out, apparently.

If you guys ever do another Kickstarter or similar I'll gladly pay again 50 dollars.
By the way, you guys mentioned in the beginning that you've moved into a new place? Did you mean with that Campo Santo or the Thumbs office? I know CS moved to a new location at least since I saw the Twitter posts about that.
They're the same office

I don't have a phone plan atm + lazy so I haven't played it yet but my friends are.
I hear a good tip is to download your area's google map to save on data.
Also the poke lures are kinda creepy. Some friends were placing them around and random people were coming up to them while they were still wandering around.
Something like that is probably going to be used to lure people away to mug them at some point.
The Google Map thing is a myth, at least on iOS. Google Maps' offline maps aren't available to other iOS apps.

They did fix the Google account scoping, but you'l have to deauthorize the app in your Google account and then reconnect from the app. You won't lose any data doing so.

Oh definitely, but it's still got an awful UI that tells you it deleted everything but actually lies and you have to refresh a thousand times and even after doing that oops a bunch of uploads persist because reasons.

I'm sure the author welcomes pull requests

It's more efficient than individually deleting them all by hand.

Hey all, as part of a forum cleanup I unpinned this thread, since it's pretty active and will usually be near the top anyway. If anyone's really bugged by that fact, I can repin it. I'm hoping to reserve the pin area for really important threads or community events that are still in the start-up phase though.
