Yep. Puppetry is basically the art of bringing life to an inanimate figure. So a guy in a suit is still technically a puppeteer. When you think about it, there's not really a lot of difference between a hand puppet and big bird.

Yes he did. But he recorded the Agrajag lines years and years ago, because he said he really wanted to play that part if there was ever another radio series

Nobody's mentioned this over here yet (I linked to it on AG and nobody replied ), so here goes: http://www.abovethetitle.com/content/programmes/hitchhikers/audio/hhgttg.mp3 That's the promo for the new HHG radio show that Radio 4 will be airing, featuring the entire original cast (except the late Peter Jones) and none other than Douglas Adams as Agrajag.

"I say his three cent titanium tax goes too far!" "And I say his three cent titanium tax doesn't go too far enough!"

Cherrish, We definitely don't allow warez requests on these forums. We have to maintain good relationships with developers, and having "Hey, where can I download some games?" threads all over our site really doesn't help that.
-
Fark... hit edit instead of quote, sorry. Excuse me, half the threads? Evan locked the Vampyre story after it turned into a Dimi-vs-the-world flame thread, and that's pretty much been it. You're making it sound like we're turning the forums into some sort of overcontrolled hellhole bent on crushing free speech, and I kind of take offense at that.

At the moment, Thai Tom Kha soup. In general, though, I really like corn chowder.

Your Deepest, Darkest Fantasies about... an Apple Mac

Noo, that's wrong. the iMac was just another model. I'm not even 100% sure iMacs are still in production. I know they make a model called the eMac now, but I know very little about it. -
The classic gaming expo is coming up in San Jose. Anyone interested in going? Unlike E3, it's open to everyone and the cost is only $25 in advance. http://www.cgexpo.com/

Yeah, no problem

Duh... Europe was actually stuck on Atari consoles all the way until the PS1 released

Careful... Caroline will kick your ass

The tradeoff is that doing cross-platform ports takes even more money, and unless they've found a publisher that isn't going to be a very viable option for them right now.

Works for me. I'll still buy the Xbox version for the better graphics, though

Bah! We're in the process of upgrading classroom media equipment at work, and we just got the new projectors for one of our classrooms. Twin DLP projectors at 12,000 lumens apiece. They mount side-by-side and accept either one or two RGBHV signals. If it's one, they can stitch the images together to form a single seamless double-wide image for DVD playback, etc. It's so not fair! I want 'em for my living room Sorry... felt the need to vent some 'projector envy'
-
Heck, I'd be happy with just one DLP system in my house. All those little mirrors...

Heh... I'm going. TWICE! -
Yeah, TeamSpeak is cool. Maybe if enough people are interested I'll look into running a server on idlethumbs

I pity the fool who doesn't use it on a regular basis!

Jack in the Box is definitely awesome. I really like In n' Out, too. Their burgers are pretty good, and they're cheap

The funny thing about McDonald's is that no matter how many arguments you make about the company itself, their food absolutely sucks. Even compared to other fast food chains (and by quite a margin, too).

Here's a hint about how business works: Companies are out to make a profit, not to do what's best for the consumer. They'll charge what the market will bear, and will continue to do so as long as games sell at current prices.

I work for UCSC Media Services. Normally I'm a videoconference tech, but over the summer I'll be working for the engineering unit fulltime.

Well, according ot the DMCA it's illegal to circumvent any copy protection mechanism for any reason, so yes, cracking a game you actually own is still illegal.
