Like Northgard only not as good would make a good box quote for this one. And I doubt a year from now it will be a good game. Oh and this has the added touch it doesn't "get" what Dune is about at all. This game gets Dune like Lynch did with his bullshit wierding modules.

With the release of the final DLC today for AI War 2 might it be time for an episode covering the game in complete state? Just my 2 cents but I think it turned out to be really rather brilliant and worthy of an episode talking about it.

The tone of your entire post made me chuckle as it takes the topic and this podcast far too seriously. I quoted this last bit because it's just laugh out loud hilarious. And makes me question whether anything you're saying is meant to be taken seriously.

For me this was like coming home and hanging out with an old friend. A well spent 15 bucks even for just one full campaign as Rome. And I'd love to see the same treatment done to MTW2. P.S. The comment at the end suggesting that modern games are better simply by the fact they're newer is amusing. I won't bother listing them all, but the list is quite long of games from 10, 15 or 20 years ago that are better than anything currently made imho.

Kind of a amazed Shogun 2 was done in a year. It's an absolute masterpiece.
