I've unsubscribed from more than a handful of gaming podcasts in the last few month for wandering so far off topic that games are a long distant memory. There a only a tiny number of smart, independent and well respected voices in games journalism left, this year has shown a HUGE erosion of people's trust in the games/game news/reviews cycle (and the industry is surprised when sales of their big titles under-perform). I am totally behind you taking the podcast any way you want to that keeps it interesting for you, but I for one would miss your unique take on games. In other news when I saw you on video Nick looked exactly how I'd imagined and I thought Chris looked like he should be singing me a song from Halfway Up the Stairs.
