I'm also interested to see what they do next with Us Vs. Them stuff. Austin and Jason have both mentioned Gundam Extreme VS Full Boost recently in podcasts and videos and honestly I think that would be a perfect fit for this kind of stream but maybe unlikely because it's kind of a niche import thing that the rest of the staff might not have like any interest in.

I've been playing Mario Puzzle and Dragons too and yeah it's fun at points but damn as much as I love the idea of mixing RPG elements with puzzle games I hate the idea of grinding in a damn puzzle game. Building teams based on type advantages is cool in theory but it also means that some of your monsters are just going to be naturally underlevel even to the point where I'm being killed in one hit at full health because my monsters don't have high enough RCV or whatever, it's so frustrating!

It was probably more of a matter of my own incompetency than poor game design but I ended up quitting Hitman: Blood Money recently. I was really enjoying it because I like stealth games and it handles stealth so much differently from other games I've played but I quit about halfway through (the stage with the christmas theme) and will probably never go back. When I first started the game I chose the normal difficulty and noticed that it said I could only save 7 times. I wasn't sure if that meant for the entire game or per stage (it's per stage) so I just made a habit of making it through each stage without saving and developed a habit where I would select "restart" and then "yes" when it asked "restarting when delete your save, are you sure you want to restart?". So I really hit a wall at this stage and decided to make my life easier by starting to save right before key moments, such as an assassination attempt, but restarting was so ingrained in my head that I would just end up deleting my save. This happened once or twice and I groaned but was early enough in the stage that I just went with it. Eventually I made it pretty far in the stage, failed, restarted and deleted my save, screamed, and closed the game to never open it back up again.

It's been a little while since I finished a game but most recently I finished Stranger's Wrath and really liked it. The way the structure changes near the end felt fresh, the twist was pretty cool, and I really loved the ammo system and wish more games had more stuff like it. While I enjoyed the idea of FPS/3D platformer hybrid, there really just wasn't much to the platforming that stood out at all. It wasn't bad or anything it was just like...there and imo it kinda felt like the FPS stuff was prioritized over platforming.

Hi I am new around these parts and this is my face as well as other parts of my body.

Life is okay I suppose. Finishing up my first class of grad school tonight and then going back to my parents' house for a few days, which is always stressful since I'm trans and not out to them. Moving into a new apartment with good pals on the 5th. Trying to get an internship at a substance abuse recovery program for trans ppl but I've been having a hell of a time trying to contact the person who runs it. Definitely in a transition period which is exciting but also kinda frustrating!!!!
