  1. DISHONORED 2: MISS HONORED

I just finished the game as Emily on low chaos. I didn't stealth it completely and I did kill a few people, however all targets I dealt with via the low chaos route. I thought it was fantastic overall, I like the first game more but thats probably because that game came out of nowhere for me back then. Going to start it up again as Corvo!
  2. Idle Thumbs Streams

I checked out the first ten minutes, but will just listen to the show normally tomorrow. I think the camera angle should just be a fixed wide / medium with all you guys in the frame instead of cutting every five seconds. At least then we get to see reactions from everyone in the frame, plus it'll be alot less work to setup.
  3. Idle Thumbs Streams

For me it's more seeing Chris' reaction to what happens because I thought it was pretty goofy when I did that in my game.
  4. DISHONORED 2: MISS HONORED

Boy this Clockwork Mansion sure is cool. Loving the levels design and look so far.
  8. Rainbow Six: Siege

Best shooter i've played in years, has quite a steep learning curve but once you get it its hard going back to other shooters.
  9. DISHONORED 2: MISS HONORED

Got my copy today, played maybe 45 minutes. Going to spend another few hours with it tonight.
  10. Owlboy!

Don't really know much about this game, going to check out that new Double Fine stream I think.

There is actually alot more to the combat, its kinda like Paper Mario where you time your button press and do more damage. You also have to time your blocks, have a chance to do a follow up attack, you collect / buy cards which you can in battle too. The animations are super repetitive to no change there.. Deus Ex: Human Revolution So I originally played this back on the Xbox 360 in 2012 and had an interesting time with the game. It was my first Deus Ex game, and idiot me decided to try and play it pacifist on my first playthrough - which was fine, but whenever I got to those whack ass Bosses I found it very difficult.. I was completely underpowered. So much so I took months off playing it. That final boss took me so long I had to backtrack, hack a turret carry it all the way back to the Boss room and place it in the corner. I didn’t even get the pacifist achievement either!! However I absolutely loved the art style, atmosphere, music, cyperpunkness and the various ways of approaching missions. Jump ahead many years, I decided to play it again, this time the Director’s Cut on PC leading up to the Mankind Divided release. I made it about 10 hours before MD then I moved onto that because I was too excited. I beat MD and now moved back to finish off HR again. Man the Director’s Cut is so much better. All of those BS boss fights are gone, the Missing Link DLC is seamlessly integrated into the game. I completely recommend it.

Battlefield 1 I finished the campaign, just on normal and I hardly got any collectibles or secrets. I thought it was very average. I was hearing stuff like the opening was "incredible", "best thing since MW1". The first 10 minutes were neat, but after that its back to generic balls to the wall shooter. Repetitive objectives and gameplay - Capture this area, collect these items, clear this area. I didn't really expect anything great so I guess I am not that disappointed. Its also a big shame that Costume Quest 2 Coming just off finishing CQ1 for the first time. I really wanted to beat it before Halloween but I literally just finished it. Not too much to say.. really fun game like the original with more costumes, abilities, levelling up characters, more in-depth combat system. I think I prefer the first game mostly because of the setting but I did enjoy this alot. Hope we get a Costume Quest 3 soon!
  14. Hitman: Steve Gaynor Edition

I had a go on it earlier, its really awesome. Love the look and feel. Need to play more though
  15. Idle Thumbs Streams

Hitman season finale JAPAN is out now! I hope you guys play that soon.
  16. Battlefield 1

Apart from the interesting start, the campaign was meh. Very repetitive I found. MP is great fun, which is all I care about really. I doubt I will put as much time as BF3 and 4 into it though.

My body is ready for the upcoming Hitman finale episode in Japan. Chris can critique its authenticity
  18. I heard "FMV" not "FNB" initially and was pretty confused..

Costume Quest Been meaning to play this for so many years. I only ever played the first 20 minutes a few times but never got any further, mostly due to it not running great on my MacBook. Now I have a Windows 10 desktop so jumped in for the Halloween season. I really dug it, very simple game with alot of charm. I did find a weird choppiness to the game, which is a little puzzling seeing as the game isn't very demanding.. I finished it in around seven hours, moving into the DLC and Costume Quest 2 next during the build up to Halloween. Definitely worth playing this time of the year. Edit: Grubbins on Ice Neat little DLC. I enjoyed the new locations and costumes. Not really much else to say about it!

Alan Wake's American Nightmare Within 20 minutes I already preferred it to the original game. The setting and atmosphere are probably the strongest things about the first game, but I liked the different look in this game. More colour, nice new HUD, way more weapons, you actually get rewarded for collecting manuscript pages with the weapon boxes, easy enemy encounters. I also dug the live action segments. The gameplay loop did get a little repetitive but luckily its slightly different each time so make it interesting still. Also finally you can turn off motion blur! However the annoying auto switch shoulder was present.

Yeah its a real shame. Also, I think I will skip both the DLCs and just play American Nightmare some time.

Alan Wake I have wanted to play this for quite a while now, but only just got round to it. I had seen maybe the first hour via walkthroughs years ago however. I played it on PC, normal difficulty, in around eight hours. I thought the game was good, but definitely with alot of faults. I thought the story was interesting and I really liked the atmosphere and setting. However the further I got through the game the more I just wanted it to be over. The characters were okay; Barry I found completely useless and annoying though. The only funny bit was when he shows up covered in Christmas lights later in the game. Apart from that his comic relief wasn't for me. The game just felt very "video gamey" throughout which kinda sucked. "Hey turn that fuse box on, OHHH LOOK OUT ambush!". Here is a horde of taken to fight. It happened so much. It got so repetitive after a while. Most of my deaths were from some of the ridiculous possessed objects, like a fridge just coming out of nowhere and hitting me. The driving in the game was terrible, the cars sounded and handled badly. I was getting slight Deadly Premonition flashbacks (although nothing comes close to that games driving) There were also a few PC related things that really bugged me: 1 - You can't disable motion blur - no setting in options. I think you can do it by doing something with the game files, but it should really be an option. 2 - The controls were really floaty to me. I could never really get used to the feeling. 3 - The auto switching shoulder every two seconds really annoyed me. Why does this even happen? Really annoyed me. I am glad I finally played it and I will continue and play the two DLCs and American Nightmare to see what they are all about but yeah I kind of expected more. The game also really wasn't scary, not that I expected it to be a horror or scary game but it kind of gives off that impression.
