  2. It's time. Blind raid, this weekend, be there at 265 light, or be square!

Also the options for it are Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning for me as I have unfortunate plans. I can make anytime after 2 PM mountain time Saturday and anytime before 3 PM Mountain time Sunday so let's figure out what works best and quickly so we can find people to fill in any gaps we have with Waypoint people!

  3. "Addressing the story and scenario of Persona 3 in relation to later games, Hashino says: "With the way that game's world worked, it was okay for the protagonist to be female. With Persona 4, though, we needed the character to come from a big city to a small country town to be the driving force of the story, and it seemed more natural for a male character to fulfill that role. There are story aspects to this decision, as well.""

  4. On the one hand I'm not happy to hear people are having issues. On the other hand SWEET VINDICATION:

This is a neat piece of tech for sure but there's so many points of failure on this thing that it has the potential to be a Red Ring Of Death level disaster. Between the left joycon issue, the people reporting scratching on the screen when using the dock, the way the joycons attach to the tablet having about six different ways it could fail, this thing could turn out to be a real nightmare. Or if could be fine. Who knows.

Okay maybe I'm jumping the gun but hey we might all get some free virtual consoles games with our free warranty replacments!

  5. It can feel a bit at times like Griffin is just writing fan fiction of his own D&D campaign for all the stuff he actually let's the players do. I think it's due to how they all ultimately know it's for the audience. But honestly it's getting a bit dull as of late.

  6. It depends honestly. If all systems play in the same instances then I'll go PC just because at that point there's no reason not to. I highly doubt that will happen though so I will almost certainly stick with PS4.

  7. I did a little digging into the games PS4 Pro support (There isn't any right now as far as I can tell) and it sounds like this is very much a port from the PS3 to the PS4 and that it shows in spots on the PS4 so I'm guessing it's fine. I haven't seen any real complaints and most of it's Japanese audience would have likely played it on the PS3 so I wouldn't worry too much.

  8. Either way had they consulted just about any trans person on the planet they would have known better then to write that scene like they did. I understand they weren't trying to be hateful but they were a least somewhat hurtful. And I'm certainly not calling for a boycott over it but I feel it needs to be brought up at least.

  9. I will say this ME:A hasn't hit any of the highs of the previous games yet. And it's lows are for the most part a tad lower. Still the outfits for the women on your crew are less baffling on the whole (Seriously what was up with Samara?) and it's nice to finally have a good number of female aliens in the series. It stumbles pretty hard with it's token trans NPC and the game has some issues with colonialism but it's nice to not have to stare at every women's cleavage and/or ass in a Mass Effect for once.

  10. That's basically where I am with it. It helps that this is by far the most likeable crew Bioware has ever had at least for me. So far I would put this below ME2 and on par with ME3. ME1 hasn't really held up so I would call it the weakest of the bunch. Also as spotty as the writing has been I've yet to see anything as cringe worthy as EMBRACE ETERNITY.

apparently no-one on the writing staff (and by extension, no-one in the entire Andromeda Initiative) is aware that many societies consider attempted murder to be a serious crime that is distinct from actual murder. You find out that while the perpetrator wasn't actually responsible for the killing shot, he definitely tried to kill the victim. Your options are to treat him as completely innocent of any crime or convict him specifically for the murder.

    Spoiler

I took it as them only having a few options by virtue of not yet having the resources for a traditional justice system leaving them with the options of exile which may as well mean death, or a relatively light punishment of community service. It didn't feel to me like no one thought it was a serious crime it felt like they couldn't justify under their current legal code exiling a man for an attempted murder which had it worked would have saved several lives.
