  1. anime

I am following Noblesse (a manga, not an anime, sorry) for past 4 years and it is really awesome! On a different note, I do like how theyr use their own traditions in the series. Have you watched Rurouni Kenshin? Such historical depiction is simply marvelous!
  2. Books on Mythology

I have always been extremely interested in the similarities between many of the mythological characters coming from the four different ancient civilizations. Though I have read different books on each civilizations and their mythological figures, is there any study/books/resources where I can find a discussion or research on this exact topic - the similarities between ancient mythological figures? Let me know if anyone has read anything on this topic. Thanks in advance.
  3. Family entertainment will have different connotation to different people. For me if I get a game/movies/documentaries which I could play or watch without being troubled with the thought as whether or not it will be appropriate for the little ones in the family, that I call a family entertainment. We follow a weekly entertainment plan in our family especially for the kids where we try to introduce something new be it a game, a movie, a gadget or some crafts. So I keep on searching for stuffs that will be entertaining but also will have a bit of learning curve in it. My search led me to NFL, minions, the madagaskar games, some dragon games and very easy to do science activities for kids etc.
  4. Magical Realism & Weird Fiction thread

I'll not be able to copy paste from the book buut I can mention The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, which I consider to be one of my best reads in magical realism. In fact I came across the term in that book only. I like the final battle scene in it, which game me hard time initially to digest it untill I came to know it was supposed to be that way as it is magic realism!
  5. Hey thanks Justin. As I just mentioned to Clyde, I have got another one that I like very much and it's Minion Rush. Actually it is because of the characters, minions, I downloaded it. This one is good as well. And then there is this Team Fortress 2 which I play with my colleagues
  6. Well, I happen to play this new one too Clyde. It's Minion Rush. But I guess I have to give myself a time limit now. Getting too much addicted to online n mobile games ...and oh, none is paying me to paste the link of my favorite games. Had my favorite books were available with a link, would have shared that too.
  7. Recommend me a cool book!

Not sure what exactly will fit into your 'cool book' category, but you can try some of the Stieg Larsson novels or Paulo Coelho creations. For lighter reads, try some graphic novels like Persepolis.
  8. I have come across this multiplayer game, NFL GameDay Heroes, which has several short ones inside it. A complete family entertainment! NFL.bmp
