I was listening to the radio on the way into work this morning and continue to be livid with the Big Media response. We got "so someone set fire to the Mike Brown memorial AND THEN LOOTERS BROKE INTO A BARBER SHOP HERE IS THE REST OF THE SEGMENT." I continue to be *amazed* at how many people have either forgotten about or never heard about Ferguson in the first place; it is incredibly refreshing to see people continuing to keep tabs on the police. Is it just me, or are none of them wearing the mandated cameras from several weeks back?

I made this terrible mistake last night and was in tears until Mike Danger and Korax showed up and saved the day. You guys are the best . We ran two more after doing the "kill Draksis" quest and both times got Draksis. I think Draksis beat up the Queen and took her lunch money. We were just not sure. I am 100% game for doing some Queen's Wrath missions tonight! I should be on around 8:15ish EDT.

Hey just a heads up PSA Today's Queen's Wrath bounties include: "For Her Honor Win 3 Crucible Matches with the Queen's Class, Emblem and Shader items equipped." The Queen's Class item requires rep level 2 (there is both a shader and an emblem available at rep 1). It is literally impossible to hit that today, even if you were to complete every other bounty. You can hit Rep Level 1, but only if you completed all six yesterday, and it looks like holding onto a Queen's Bounty cuts into your available options for the next day (I did not finish the Hand Cannon headshot quest yesterday, and it was still sitting unfinished in the bounty list today, and was not replaced when I turned it in). Basically, if you take For Her Honor, you're going to be wasting a slot for at least two days unless you drop it after grabbing it so... I would avoid it.

Note also that they just announced a PS4/XONE edition today, so if anyone is looking to jump in on those consoles, Nov. 4th is coming up fast!

Between this and Alien: Isolation, October could actually be Super Spooky for once. Assuming both of them end up 100% neato, of course.

Heads up warning to anyone doing Queen's Wrath bounties; cheesing the "Archon Slayer" quest by just doing it on easy will force you to sit through the whole cutscene where the Speaker yaps forever afterwards. Weigh your time accordingly; the mission is short enough that you can do it in five minutes and just unload a full machine clip into Riksis for a quick kill, but you'll get another five minutes of awful blah blah after. Hello, I am the random person from the IRC channel I'll get back on the Rocksmith horse as well and try to post some updates on the regular; maybe I will make a few videos and whatnot as well. It will be an adventure!

So the Queen's Wrath quests are certainly something. I hope everyone's headshot game is on point; time to bust out the hand cannons, snipers, and scout rifles. Oh, and on the topic of that .gif: what is that level 15 doing there when there is a 0% chance legendary engrams will drop for a 15? Oh, maybe he's chilling with his friends, because part of the allure of the loot cave is to just grab some buds and shoot the breeze while grinding it out, same as you would in any other MMORPG. I hate to keep drawing everything back to FFXIV, but it's the most recent "proper" MMO I played, and the loot cave just reminds me of Brayflox Hard runs. It was the easiest way to grind for a necessary item, and you could do the dungeon in about 5 minutes. You'd end up doing it over and over for about an hour or more, and it became second nature. We spent most of the runs just chatting about life and drinking, with the dungeon run essentially just serving as a conduit for us to catch up with each other. I dunno. No harm, no foul.

I have seen a few Titans using bubble on smaller control maps, but other than yeah, I find it just ends up being Titans one-shotting me out of nowhere and getting just one kill Meanwhile Arc Blade and Golden Gun... Edit: Quick thoughts, do we think the three classes each fit a certain style of gameplay more? I feel like Titan is really a PvE class, Hunter is PvP, and Warlock goes both ways depending on how you spec.

What times will you be on tonight roughly? I'm only 24, which means I'll be shooting for 40% less than normal, but maybe luck will be on my side and I'll pick up some gear before we run it. And yeah the Earth strike is easier but 100% more tedious because of the Devil Walker. I've accidentally eaten a grenade twice now (once while reviving another guy, which led to a flurry of curses) and ruined my no deaths as a result. I'll probably run the moon a whole bunch tonight; I don't think I've ever eaten it on normal. Sure glad I've been grinding that glimmer though, pop a glimmer buff before 99% of missions nowadays.

I finally got a Vanguard Missive! I took the one for Invective - the shotgun that regens ammo - and now I am immediately discovering how insane these exotic bounties are. Like whoa nelly. The first one I have to run is finish five strikes (not in a row, thank the heavens) without dying, and it's... it's not going super well. That said, I've been running mostly 22/24 Strike Playlist, because as JonCole points out, that's probably the most fun you can have in the game. So it makes a bit of sense that I'd be kicking the bucket a bunch. But if anyone wants to get together tonight and bang out a bunch of easy Strikes so I can move on to whatever the next step in this bounty is uh, that'd be real cool. And yeah, Bladedancer is... absurd. If you take Encore as your final perk (extends Arc Blade for every kill), you can effectively clear an entire map with one super if it's a small enough map and you've got it memorized (Delphi is my jam, but also Blind Watch, Shores of Time, Twilight Gap). Similarly, if you take... whatever the second final perk is, where you go invisible after crouching, you become a corner camp god, and everyone hates you forever.

I think they later specified that it was in the two years since Tabata started working, but I still love "55%," like they have some corporate goal thermometer on the wall that they slowly fill up with Sharpie at the end of the day. So 55% of the Tabata-made game, since they basically scrapped the original 2006 version once they had to move to PS4/XONE. That's probably five pizza parties. Another 5% and you get two toppings per pizza, Square Enix!

I hate to double post but Important News has surfaced. "Director Hajime Tabata estimates that Final Fantasy 15 is currently around 55 percent complete, though the game changed drastically after he took over the project two years ago." Source Stellar. Just... stellar.

I set up Spotify radio with the other day and it's proven to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. I know HAIM hasn't put out anything super recently, but the station is working really well for me so far; lots of POLIÇA and other indie rock fronted by women.

I have blessedly never had take out problems, and I am sorry for your loss.

I have never even seen the Cryptarch offer anything past a green And yeah, as terrible as I feel for doing it, auto rifle + shotgun is my crucible gear of choice. The aim assist (which is CRAZY in this game, is it just me?) makes auto rifles such that all you have to do is point at heads and shoot, and you'll win a distance fight with no problems. Use your radar effectively, take no shame in camping a corner, and you'll just ruin people with a shotgun. Once I stopped trying to be a special snowflake running a hand cannon and fusion rifle, and started playing Call of Duty: Superheroes, my K/D went from abysmal to "over 1:1 every time." I don't sleep well at night.

I think the other Big Beef with comics is that while the cartoons and movies have made big strides in equality, the comic book world itself tends to lag behind. DC is *killing it* when it comes to TV (Arrow is great, Young Justice is great, etc.), but then you look over at the comics and you've got that New 52 Catwoman reboot that was the *literal worst*, along with whatever misogynist atrocities Dan Didio is having people commit at any given moment. And is it just me, or do the cartoons that aren't geared "towards adults" always better than those that are? Under The Red Hood felt like a terrible slog, but Brave And The Bold was probably the best Batman thing since TAS.

I was at 22 at the time; poor choice. I dinged 23 last night after grinding that spot juv3nal posted. Two legendary engrams! Both gloves! One rare! One legendary... for warlocks. Hopefully I'll hit level 2 FWC today and then it's all Astrolord All The Time. Unless I grab enough Strange Coins this weekend, in which case that Hunter chestpiece looks *mighty* appealing. Yup! I think the left side of my body is going to end up mostly Zelda tattoos; I've got a small shoulder piece that's the crest surrounded by a band of color that fades from blue->green->red->blue and the three pearls. This is a full calf piece, and then I need to think pretty heavily about what I want to do as a sleeve.
