Was D4 like that? I coulda sworn it had free movement. There's definitely a difference in that TDC takes advantage of the limitation. The area changes shape while you're looking away, and uses the directed camera. In D4 it's a fully simulated 3D space regardless of that. -

Ah I see. I guess I finally have a reason to start researching all those weapons that aren't just tranquiliser and explosives. Are the attachments ever cross gun attachments? As in, a sniper rifle could never take a piece of equipment from an assault rifle? I've basically ignored any gun that's not a pistol or sniper rifle thus far. On a related note, I finally got a silenced tranq sniper rifle and it's everything I hoped. Now I just need to get more sustainable silencers. EDIT Well I guess if I wanna fight the skulls I'll have to get new weapons anyway

The traversal discussion was particularly interesting because I just today watched a video about That Dragon, Cancer that noted the game used a point and click style interface that let you travel to different nodes in 3D space. Basically, you can look around freely. You can click on things to interact with them, or sometimes to move over to the place you just clicked on and then look around from that point. It is essentially what the Thumbs were talking about (albeit in a more guided, small and narrative game). -
Speaking of that Legendary Gunsmith. I just got him, and I can do a couple customisations for my guns, but way more are locked off. Is there anywhere I can see what I need to do to get access to more of them? Or do I just need to generally progress and wait for more to pop up?

Unravel is by Scandanavians, not sure if their timezone affects the release time. Steam game will unlock in 4 hours if that helps. Also Firewatch is second top seller on Steam, only after GTAV even though some random sale is on right now. -

That's great. I've never actually made stuffed peppers, so it'll be a fun adventure. A reminder to people that it's technically still bean time til Wednesday. But drifting dishes early or late is perfectly fine! As an aside. I ruined my beans. I was using dried beans and misread how long they were meant to boil for so they were woefully undercooked. My soup was still tasty as I could dip bread in and get a good flavour off of it, but the hard beans were not edible. Let this be a lesson not to use dried beans (unless you know what you're doing I guess). -

For convenience sake I use Pepperplate to save all my recipes (they have a phone app that syncs) so I can just grab recipes from all sites, link back to the original source but still add my own notes/changes (like converting from american measurements). -

Going back to my new veg cook book. I'll post photos and the recipe on request but it looks tasty from the photo. -

I was trying to get a mod to replace Quiet's default bikini outfit with the regular clothes you can get later in the game, but I've hit a snag. This is the page I found on nexus mods that I was going to use, but it refers to a tool known as the MGSV QAR Tool, which is... gone. Or at least it is for me. When I try to look it up I don't seem to get any results linking to other downloads, people don't seem to address this being gone. Is it gone for you folks too?
