I think there's a difference between approaching it too much as a game to be completed/beaten/mastered and thinking "The pace of this is too slow, because it's lingering longer than necessary on things." You don't run in a museum but the curator is not physically blocking you from moving on when you think you're done with a piece because the curator says "No no, there's more to think about here.".

The bundle is really cool and I'm intrigued, though I can only use the 3DS games and the only one I want but don't have is Shantae. I'm curious what else gets added to it.

Well that explains a lot, I only ever use light armor. I don't think I've ever seen poise go up.

I'm replaying it too, trying to learn to use a real sword and shield instead of just the bow. Speaking of bows, I got to a big roadblock. The big shitty archers in Anor Londo. One thing I never figured out is how to raise poise? No armor seems to affect it, nor do any stats. Presumably there's a way to get it above 0 eventually.

Undertale is coming out in a couple days and I never got round to posting about it before. It has a demo on the page I linked above, the demo seems to work pretty well as a solid prologue to the rest of the game. I wont say much of the story because I don't entirely remember the premise there but I definitely enjoyed the treatment. This is even mildly spoilery for the experience of the game, so only read it if you need proper convincing: I'm particularly interested that this gameplay quirk was actually impacting upon how the demo ends, so it's clearly something the developer is interested in focusing on. So I'm super curious to see how it plays out.

Great theme! I need to make more of my lunches, for money and taste reasons. There's one I meant to do from my book that's basically a DIY 'pot noodle'. The idea is that you prepare all the ingredients and put them into a container. Then when you want to eat it, you just let it sit in hot water for a little bit to 'cook' it and eat. I'm super intrigued and I bet it'd be good if I do my usual thing of dumping too much spices on it. I really ought to do multiple of these.

Yeah, the changes are a bit weird and I'm kinda glad I finished the game before they happened. I liked the feel of the game, but if this makes it accessible to more people then it's worth it.

Well to be clear, I only thought about determination this way a while after finishing. I also thought that it was mostly a justification/meta jokey thing but I noticed the real ties when I saw the Genocide run.

I think I might need to be late if the session starts earlier. But it entirely depends on someone else's schedule that I can't predict yet so it's probably best to ignore me when deciding this.

Oh yeah I didn't think of there. I'm generally averse to second hand phones cause new ones are fragile enough but I think CEX give warranties. Also €55 a month!? That's at least three times what I pay with prepay.

The worst part of that is that the store lists it as 32MB because most of the data is downloaded after the fact. Which also makes me suspect that they plan to keep adding to that size as they make new contenttm.

Oh yeah all my pricing is without contracts. You pay more total on a contract so I always have to pay the real price for phones. That's part of what makes this conversation confusing (and online phone reviews questionable) Just googled and hoo boy it's €500.

It absolutely is, but in a way I thought it was kinda intentional to make sure that you'd only get that ending intentionally, rather than stumbling onto it.

I just use removable storage for media and built in for apps. I'm sure refurbished are good but I try to avoid breaking the 200 barrier on phones which is entirely out of iPhone range I think.

Do iPhones not have babySD card support? My phone only has 2GB built in which is a real pain but is definitely usable.

I still have friends I made in college 5ish years ago, but already the dissonance of them not being as progressive* makes hanging out with them weird. * I can't figure out how to make this not sound like a judgement of them as 'bad people', but essentially they're not as SJ-y as I have become but they're not awful people.

As someone who doesn't buy expensive phones, are iPhones still more expensive than comparably powerful models? I presume there's some amount of apple premium in the cost but I've never looked into what the gap is really like.
