I had the exact same problem. They were always computer games when I was growing up but these days I interact more with online gaming people who mostly use video games. I always thought the name was weird because to me it sounds more like Dragons Lair than an interactive experience.

What do you think made you who you are today?

It's a deconstruction of privilege that parodies the logical conclusion of giving some unchecked power above others. Within the clearly laid out power structure everyone's powee dynamics are frequently the drivers behind their conflicts. It's easy to miss, because it all went over my head when I made it. -
That would actually be the perfect way for Valve to come out after this whole debacle and state their opinion, by locking off their game from people they don't think deserve it.

Not the originals but some later generation comics and two of the cartoons do still exist. Warning, they were made by me as a teenager, so clearly terrible. Also not that much superheroics are involved. -
I just finished too.

A new Humble Indie Bundle is out, with a good collection of games in it, but also a special $65 tier of physical goods they can send you. The pack includes a shirt, a vinyl record and a floppy disk. Also includes a book of tips and tricks, which to me sounds like stuff I used to get with old game magazines. I'm curious of whether this actually does well or its another case of people realising they don't want physical goods THAT much.

On the off chance Nachimir runs out of them, I see I have ten invites too so I can keep the invites flowing.

Is the notification noise customised to be baboo?

Because our scores are judged extra harshly on new page posts.

Also a historically authentic reference.

How do couches regularly fit into the toilets? Unless... That's what they have instead of urinals?

I like Dear Esther, Depression Quest and Farmville, so put me down as an emphatic yes!

A bunch of things happened, but I enjoy that one specific moment lead to me doing an animation degree and learning how to draw. Back in secondary school, we got an assignment about writing an article as if we were writing for a tabloid. One of my friends was asking about the assignment and what it entailed, he asked "So, we're supposed to be super biased?" It struck me as an odd phrase and an odder 'power' for a superhero. So I then went and drew some dumb stickman comics featuring Super Biased Man that people liked. Followed up later by some dumb animated shorts in the same vein. I made other shorts too, but was frustrated with my general feeling that I was clearly an amateur at it but for reasons I didn't undertand. There was gaps in quality between my stuff and 'real' shorts that I could tell were there but not understand, so I went to study an animation degree where I was cured of the assumption that I innately couldn't draw. I was tending towards creative work regardless of these exact events but I'm certain that those two words distinctly affected my path and how I decided to pursue creative endeavors. -
Glory Days of the Free Press was an experience that had me expecting a satire when I heard the name I had thought was sarcastic. But as I started talking to people I switched from thinking it was very stupid satire to realising it was just silly fun. The abstraction of removing specificity and detail from the tropey back and forth gave the unusual effect of capturing the feeling while highlighting the fact that it was just nonsense. I thought this one flowed better than some of the other 50 games, since it is essentially allowing you to wander through and grab bits of conversation from anyone you pass by. I realised in the after math how much it actually does give a genuine Glory Days vibe and feels like an enjoyable shameless roleplay.

I just read a game synopsis/blurb that was really weird because it switched from a theme and plot description to a feature list, which included at the end: Unlock a great surprise by completing the game. Replayability assured.

I found out that down the road from my new place, there's a €2 Euro shop (dollar store equivalent) that specialises in adult toys. I did not expect the venn diagram of these two shop categories to intersect.

Thus entire thread and that mini book make me sad I don't have the box sets that would allow me to watch the seasons sequentially and Ve able to take note of the shifts as they happen.

Got the code, thanks! I can't find where to use it on my phone browser do I'll try on a desktop in a bit. As för lofty goals, I do agree that it's always good to retain scepticism. But Wikipedia is entirely ad free, isn't it? Not to say this could be as big as Wikipedia but the possibility of large scale non profit Internet site is precedented.

Well. My phone picked an interesting time to include a quote. You can disregard the words of Bjorn there.

This sounds really cool, I particularly like the artist focus and the design looks way nicer. I'd be up for taking an invite if that's alright. Also any recommendations on people to follow there?

Maybe I need to rewatch that ending on YouTube, I finished it a while back and don't remember it at all, apart from being glad I expected little from the story.

I am usually bad at starting topics but once someone else instigates I can really get mileage out of it. For meeting friends, maybe try find a group or club of some sort that engages in a hobby of yours. Or alternatively a class you'd be interested in. Both of these events are casual and regular with repeat attendance where it won't be weird for you to keep going even before you've properly made friends, so you don't feel pressured to turn someone into a friend instantly.

I got some old adventure games I never played and booted up Maniac Mansion. I have no idea what I'm doing.

It really didn't take long for this thread to switch from a celebration of an open and welcoming community to discussing how attractive the hosts are. I love this place.

They know I'm ready for the deadline because we had a meeting with the producer. I haven't said I'm a Work Asshole yet, I'm thinking of telling them that through song.
