My eyeballs are too broken to let me watch 3D movies (or use the 3D on my 3DS.) It's just real blurry for me whenever anything comes toward the audience, so I actually really hate going to 3D movies.

Yeah, Sean said he was going to play it and talk about it and I was so excited, but he never went back to it. The moment that made me laugh the hardest in the whole game was Okosan's anime portrait.

I'm sorry that douchelord made you feel bad. Might I recommend Mad Max Fury Road for you miday matinee.

I don't think that it's actually worth spending extra $ on pipes to sound louder. I was just saying that I don't think loud motorcycles are douchey on the interstate, but definitely do feel that way about them in town. I see a lot of people on motorcycles on the interstate, and because they tend to weave in and out of traffic, I like being able to hear them over the standard road noise, but I don't by any means think it's necessary, especially if the motorcyclist drives responsibly. I also wasn't aware that motorcyclists used this as an excuse to buy louder pipes.

This is the doctor ending that was spoiled for me and it is not even the most bananas ending you can get.

I did about 7 playthroughs on my own without any help from a guide. There are some epilogue endings that you can only get if you make very specific choices which I needed help on, and I needed help knowing how to trigger the alternate path for the secret playthrough. I had already been spoiled on the Doctor Bird ending from that metadating episode + extreme curiosity. SERIOUS HATOFUL BOYFRIEND SPOILERS I was so blindsided by the secret ending as something way way more serious than I was ready for given a game full of anime boy portraits and the obsessive use of "everybirdie"

It's true, that it's really worth playing it multiple times for all the bird boyfriends. The most interesting story in the game you can only unlock once you've seen the endings for a few specific birds, and that's the one that gets super dark. I played that last and is the ending I specifically can't stop thinking about. I would use the skip chapter button quite a bit for getting to new content, but it is a weak skip function in comparison to ones I've used in other VNs. (It skips to the next choice to be made or the start of a new day rather than skips over only text you've previously seen, so it's possible to accidentally skip over new stuff that's in the middle of a previously read scene.)

Idle Thumbs 211: Spector's Oil

Would they have given me orthodontic information as well as sweet graphics info? I find it hard to believe that they're qualified to do either. -
I'm in the same Fantasy Life boat. I just want to be a tailor and don't care about being a witch and got bored even though I sank like 50 hours into it over the course of a week. Maybe I'll go back to it. I really want to try Story of Seasons because I love the Harvest Moon games and it seems that this is a more spiritually faithful successor than the lost valley is.

I can understand motorcycles being loud, especially since you're harder to see on the interstate, so being heard is an asset, but the disproportionate loudness of driving through neighborhoods makes me sad.

(I did know this story about the word "soccer" being something the britsh invented but they get all high and mighty about how we call it the wrong thing by calling it soccer. Imperial measurements and soccer are all your fault Brits!) -
Agreed. This is what I call them too. (From Illinois) However, not to be confused with cold sores.

TRAITOR. ( <3 ) (I do believe that this is the best way to do it for computers, but like the mm/dd/yyyy because as a human I'm a creature of habit. Thus my affection for Fahrenheit & pounds.) -

LONG LIVE THE IMPERIAL MEASUREMENT SYSTEM. DOWN WITH SCIENCE. UP WITH THE SIZE OF A FORMER KING'S FOOT. DOWN WITH STONES. UP WITH CALLING IT SOCCER. (I added the last 2 so that the British can't join in on this next chant.) USA #1! (The history of the US rejecting the metric system is really interesting, because basically the British brought over the imperial system, then the French decided that it was going to standardize the metric system. In order to convert to the metric system you had to go to France and make a copy of the standards they were using, and it was kind of a pain to go to France in 1800, so the US was like eff it, we'll just stick with our old system. We will do our money metric style though. Hope that's good enough. Obvi a simplification, but partner that with our USA #1 mentality, and you'll never get us to switch to kilograms.) -

Hahahaha, I love the idea that he was buying condoms for his players. I bet it was Fear he was buying them for as Charlie said he's the smoothest with the ladies. edit: https://twitter.com/LDdota/status/600245883930693632 Apparently RTZ broke a door last night while getting sloppy post BTS.

I'd never heard that story about RTZ, and from what I can find, grandgrant is the one who was actually terrible (no surprise there if you're familiar with him.) Grant linked to the stream, Artour went, made some immature comment (which he shouldn't have done), got timed out for it, told his stream, and then all his douchey fans went and harassed her about it, even though RTZ explicitly asked them not to when he found out what they were doing. I never really liked RTZ anyway. The same kind of immaturity that makes Sumail kind of insufferable is present in RTZ. I know they're kids, but they really would benefit from someone being more present. I don't think that their parents are really actively involved in the online portion of their lives, especially given that I don't think Sumail's mother speaks English & his father is still in Pakistan. I think that Charlie, EG's manager does some of that, but it's not really his job to parent them? It's strange.

That's a mathematical argument if I've ever heard one. One of my math professors made this exact argument in class one day because 'unique' is a very useful mathematical concept.
