  1. Nintendo 3DS

If I remember right, you can change badges, without opening it. Just double tap on a badge and it should open up the little menu at the top to rearrange & swap out badges.
  2. Nintendo 3DS

I've put $4 into it. Mostly 'cause i absolutely needed to get Roald from Animal Crossing as he's my best digital friend. I also am super into the little animal crossing heads they had last week. I put another dollar in for that.
  3. Powerball Fantasies

I know that I didn't actually buy a ticket instead just used this as a 'what would you do with a lot of money' exercise. I bet there are other people here who did the same.
  4. wrong thread

it can't be the wrong thread because i'm here to tell you about popular website threadless.com
  5. Other podcasts

John Hodman does weird one man shows, but he's not a professional stand up comedian the way like Marc Maron is. I would consider him more of a writer and actor than a stand up comedian, or a comedy writer for a sitcom/late night talk show or anything. For example, I would say that Dan & Elliot of the Flophouse are professional comedians as they were writers for the Daily Show. Yes Hodgman does write humorous things (like his fake trivia books), and appears on comedic things like the Daily Show, but I would not call him a comedian. It's not super important. I think Hodgman is funny and the Flophouse isn't.

Trusts are basically financial accounts that have to satisfy certain terms in order for that money to be accessed. So as part of an inheritance you could receive a trust that you're not allowed to access until you're 25 for example. You can set them up so that the money can't be spent in 'unapproved' ways.
  7. Other podcasts

Yeah, I find that like stand up people aren't super funny on podcasts, but sometimes people who have taken a couple improv classes or have clearly spent a lot of time honing their humor off of other funny people but are not professionals are very funny. (Gilmore Guys, Judge John Hodgman, the McElroys, Hello From the Magic Tavern is hit or miss for me, but also hits this category).
  8. Powerball Fantasies

the big twist is that i've been Gormongous the whole time.

Verified twitter users can specifically turn off mentions from anyone unverified. I think everything else on that list is open to everyone.

  18. Intoxicated:

I mostly drink because I like the way something tastes. I only get drunk maybe once every 6 weeks. Being tipsy/buzzed/slightly drunk is fun. It makes bad movies (like pitch perfect) more fun, it's an enjoyable activity with friends, and I like that I can drink and not get drunk by having a beer or a glass of wine when I get home from work.
  19. The Double Fine Radar

Hahaha, we get a lot of Europeans & those on the east coast, so you may get some responses overnight. Between about 4pm PT and 2am PT it tends to quiet down on the forums.
  20. I think you can, the same way you can ask someone if they want either ketchup, mustard or pickles. But who knows! Language is fluid!
  21. The Idle Thumbs Super Cookbook!

We just started this week with lasagna, so you haven't even missed out on much yet! Also children's pajamas are required to at least flame retardant, so maybe you should try out those.

  23. The Idle Thumbs Super Cookbook!

Hahaha, the other thread is weekly dishes that we'll make together, this is distinct enough to coexist as a parallel universe! (Feel free to join in on the weekly dishes thing. This week was lasagna!)

we already have one of those! https://www.idlethumbs.net/forums/topic/10437-woof/
  25. Here's my idea: Basically a little toy that will have a series of cat nuns sing a Christmas carol. I'm going to build it in Python because that's the language I'm most comfortable with. I would like these cats to be able to meow out one, so if you're interested in recording yourself meow singing a christmas carol (in a .wav file format), or draw a cat dressed as a nun (in a gif file format), I would be thrilled to have your contribution. Here's what I have after a couple hours of noodling around.
