ObjectiveGameReviews.com - A Subtle Journey of Discovery

I bet Arthur Gies has some absolutely stupid things to say on this subject. -
I still haven't tried the CTF mode, mostly because I've never enjoyed it in previous competitive shooters. I was playing more Hardpoint during the beta, but find myself almost exclusively playing Attrition during the full release, in an effort to master some of the game's weapons and PVP.

You might find some fun in the PS2 games, but GTA IV is largely trash from a gameplay perspective and while probably a better narrative overall, still not a terribly compelling story. If you're lukewarm on the franchise, I wouldn't expect IV to change your mind. Vice City, however, might.

I ended up not liking the G2A4 as much as I expected, and I'm the kind of player who stuck with the FAL and M14 through numerous iterations of CoD. I did unlock the match trigger for the weapon (which enables you to fire as fast as you can click, sacrificing accuracy in the process), but have yet to use it. The first SMG seems useless to me, and I've never been much of a shotgun guy in competitive multiplayer (save for Bad Company 2, where the Neostead 2000 with slug rounds was impossibly overpowered). So far I've had the best results with the R-101C and smart pistol.

Moreover, you're likely to encounter pilots if you stand your ground and pick off grunts and spectres from a fixed point--the AI fodder tends to crop up around the human players and acts as sort of an early warning system. Obviously, you're still contending with rogue snipers and pilots running around like mad, but playing a lane (for lack of a better term) does tend to move you up the ladder. The more I play, the more I'm almost entirely convinced that the smart pistol is the greatest thing ever.

Capture the flag would be impossible to explain from a narrative standpoint.

You have a city-specific gift card?
-
Where are you buying a bike helmet that you can also buy Titanfall?
-
I'd be willing to take a crack at it. Here's a copy of my resume (with most of the personal details obscured):
-
clyde and I ran into a clan of racists. I guess that would make them a klan, technically.
-
Man, the campaign is hilariously underwhelming.
-
Also, if you received an Origin friend request from Zapruder, that would be me.
-
Yeah, Titans just beget more Titans, which beget a clusterfuck of giant stomping robo-toddlers.
-
I don't think any of the mainstream games media played the game for review on PC.
-
There are at least four new primary weapons, one new anti-Titan weapon and one new sidearm. Perks have mostly been relegated to burn cards, and I think that's incredibly clever.
-
I got in sometime after 12:30 Central last night and experienced no issues after that. I'm guessing they were just experience some unevenness as all the servers spun up.
-
Show me something we didn't already see in the beta. I happened to get in and play consistently after a while, to be fair.
-
Well, I at least got to play through the tutorial. Back to the endless waiting.
-
And I thought it silly to leave the game without a score. Joke's on me. Middle fingers to Microsoft for this one.
-
Zapruder is my Origin handle. DLing the new Nvidia driver, I'll be in shortly.
-
If yes, what did you buy? Do you like it? Do you wish you'd bought something else? I'm insanely tempted to buy one of these Corsairs: I'm borrowing my boss's Cooler Master Quickfire at the moment. The blue switches certainly are loud.

I will actually champion Black Ops 2. It may have been the first Call of Duty game where I didn't bother finishing the campaign (thanks to those incredibly unfun, unbalanced branching missions), but it featured the series' best multiplayer design since Modern Warfare 2. When I traded in most of my PS3 games to help offset the cost of a new CPU, Black Ops 2 and the original Modern Warfare were the only Call of Duty titles I kept in my possession. I really hope that Treyarch continues to build better games, and I'm optimistic that an extra year in the development cycle can't hurt.

It's nearly imperceptible, actually. I find the feel of silk-screened keys far more distracting.
