I love the look and feel of Last Light enough that I am certain I'd like to spend more time in that world. I still need to finish Last Light. Maybe I'll wrap that up this weekend and then roll into 2033 instead of picking up the new Wolfenstein just yet. I just ordered a 500GB SSD and I don't really have the room for Wolfentstein anyway, now that I think about it.

Is anyone else strangely excited for the new Wolfenstein game?

Man, this looks amazing, but I kind of wish I hadn't watched it. They seem confident that they've got a good game, and I like to see that--but the last line ruins what would probably otherwise be a phenomenal surprise. -
Pilot Hunter isn't just Attrition with a different scoring system--it plays much differently. There isn't as much reason to farm grunts and you usually call down a couple more titans per round than in Attrition. The change in focus makes the mode stand out, and it is actually a lot of fun to play (and seemed to be where some of the best players were congregating). I have to wonder if the "improved" matchmaking system fragmented the player base all to hell.

Is Metro: 2033 worth $4? It's on sale today.
-
It's too bad the player base seems to be evaporating. I'm likely part of the problem as I haven't played that much recently, but Titanfall is a game that I want to be able to slip into for a few rounds when the mood strikes me.

Again, that's lazily racist instead of overtly racist, and I think that there is a difference. Grand Theft Auto V seemed about as intentionally racist as any piece of pop culture in the last decade. Sensitivity borne of ignorance isn't excusable, but it's less of a red flag for me than the hateful content of Houser Bros. games.

Is Antichamber worth $3? You have an hour to let me know.

I'm gonna stealthily rock out with my frock out.

I would agree that Ubisoft seems ill-suited to deftly tackling the material at hand, but I'm almost certain the antagonist featured in this singular piece of concept art has Asiatic genes. Honestly though, no matter how tone deaf this game might be, I doubt I will be as offended by it as I was by Bioshock Infinite, GTA V or Beyond: Two Souls.

Real confused as to what would make you question its authenticity. It's clearly an original, hi-res composite and not some basement hack photoshop job. I'm confused by this; are you implying the character on the cover is white? He looks pretty damn Asian to me. Is there anything to suggest the player character is white?

Bloodborne (Dark Souls 2 successor (Dark Souls successor (Demon's Souls successor)))

Guys, Otogi was awesome. -
Has anyone here ordered from NCIX before? I'm trying to get an SSD through them, and I'm a bit confused by everything I've seen so far. Apparently my order is undergoing "Shipping Info Verification" or some such nonsense.

Only if it means I could unread his phenomenally fucking stupid critique of Star Trek Into Darkness. Where's all the Drama™?

Neptune's Bountiful Pride: The Sequel

I've decided I can't play this game any longer, it was giving me an ulcer and keeping me from being productive. -

Holy shit, this game makes me anxious like nothing else. I'm in purple. If there's still an open slot, I'll jump in. -
In all seriousness, nothing I've read from you has been accurate.

Gotta keep my thumbs moisturized.

Finally purchased a second monitor and stand. Unfortunately, Asus' redesign of its panels mean that they don't line up when mounted--looks like I'm going to have to engineer my own solution. I also just found that bamboo headset rest last night (it's actually a banana hanger, but don't tell anyone). Maybe I'll snap some pictures later and show you how I've cabled my wireless network adapter and wireles 360 receiver; I purchased some small plastic hooks with adhesive backs and some velcro squares which did the trick nicely.

Though I'd be interested to play Peace Walker, as I hear it's essentially a direct continuation of Snake Eater.

I think you could get away with just playing Solid and Snake Eater and be done with it. Sons of Liberty is one of my biggest disappointments in gaming history (it was even sadder when Bungie made similar mistakes with HALO 2), and I could not bring myself to finish Guns of the Patriots. Solid and Snake Eater remain some of my all-time favorite games, however.

Picked this up on the cheap during the current Humble Store spring sale. I'm really enjoying it so far. It scratches the itch I've had since I built my PC for a smarter-than-average FPS single player experience. Also cannot imagine that they could retool the graphics all that much--I had to turn off PhysX because it was eating my frame-rate for breakfast.

Well, they do record the Bombcast on Mondays, so he did have almost an entire week to follow through.

Metro: Last Light is $8 for the next 6 hours or so on Humble Bundle.

Yes, diversification of business is indeed a silly business move. Who has timed to be concerned with the 1 billion+ potential customers in China?

As far as keyboards are concerned, I'm still very happy with my Corsair K70. It's a needlessly expensive device, but I love the way it feels for typing and gaming. It doesn't feature a bunch of frills that are gaming specific; it's just a solidly-built back-lit mechanical kb with a beautiful fit and finish to it. I honestly enjoy having it as an aesthetic complement to my computer space as much as I enjoy using it to interface with my PC. It certainly is a huge step up from the Dell low-profile junker I've now got sitting on a shelf in my closet. They now offer the blue & brown switch K70s in the same black/red color scheme as the one with Cherry reds.
