That's the one you singled out? Really?

These Luigi gifs are cracking me up so much.

It was a better game than The Tomb Raider (2013).

You mean Crystal Dynamics is finally going to make a proper sequel to Tomb Raider: Legend?
-
So the misogyny was Rocksteady's? Good to know.
-
Also, I changed my Origin handle (I didn't know you could do that? Cool!), it's now Architecture3000.
-
So Clyde, what do you think of the new maps? Are you happy that you plunked down for the season pass?

I think it's pretty obvious how Microsoft will tackle the elephant in the auditorium. Phil Spencer will come out and be humble, talk about games, players' choice, show off Call of Duty, Halo, maybe whatever Bioware's working on, and call it a day. Spencer has to somehow manage to be everything Don Mattrick wasn't. They will still undoubtedly do something really, really stupid. Like, wabam-level stupid.

Idle Thumbs 160: Die Übiverse
Architecture replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
Bethesda-developed games don't prevent you from murdering the innocent, but it certainly is disincentivized. -
Bump. I'm currently playing a bunch of other stuff at the moment, but I would certainly be in for some Titanfall rounds. I haven't checked to see how the game is doing post-DLC release, and I'm almost afraid to even ask.

I personally thought the water technology in GTA V was startlingly lifelike.

Man, this game just sounds like a turd. Apparently the PC version is essentially broken, as those precipitous frame-rate drops aren't unique--Brad Shoemaker was talking about the same issue on this week's Bombcast.

Anyway, I just picked up the Arkham games via Amazon. I replayed the entirety of Asylum over the long weekend. That game is fantastic indeed, though I still prefer City. The visual fidelity on a PC was kind of staggering, really.

Dear lord, if they had a Mike Allred Batman '66 skin, I would giggle for days. Days.

Mington, is Wolfenstein worth the price of admission?

Anyone know his way around federal labor laws?

I'm hourly, and my gross weekly income is just shy of that $455 mark. -

I'm not salaried, but it looks like I might fall under an exemption. I do design and retouching for a photography company. At the moment, I'm only averaging something like 80.5 hours per work week, though as I stated, I expect to work more hours in the fall. If the owner doesn't have to pay me, well that sucks, but I can live with that. But I want to be sure she's got legal precedent to do so. -
Sadly, the future will look more like this:

Is Bastion worth $2.24? Currently Steam's DotD.
-
Half-Life 3 is sizeist.

I realize it smacks of hypocrisy to come down on this but not the Far Cry 4 box art, but there's something about seeing it actually implemented as an in-game system that magnifies this sort of ignorant approach to tackling the "big issues." I guess it's because I haven't seen Far Cry 4 in motion yet.

I think pushing back the release of Steam Machines because the tech isn't flawless makes a lot of sense. Valve gets one chance to get this right.

Looks like the Caped Crusader's run-in with Bane left him with a severe case of scoliosis.

I watched about 15 minutes of a Twitch stream last night, during which time one of the Profiler tags was HOMOSEXUAL. It pretty much killed any interest I had.
