I agree it is at times, but if you've been idling in it all day, there's a refresh button next to the + button that sometimes shows you there's a bunch of people in there. I know The Last baron frequents it at times, he was the one that sent me my invite.

I found that posting on the forums doesn't do you any good. The best way to get into the DOTATODA is hang out in the idlethumbs channel and keep checking in asking for an invite. Eventually someone with invite powers will be there, and they will invite you. So with a lot of patience, and a fair bit of spamming you can be part of DOTATODA too! (it took a few months before I found someone with invite powers in the idlethumbs channel) Supposedly one of the thumbs is going to promote a bunch of people to make it easier to get people in, but I'm not sure if it happened yet or not.

I've modified it a bit myself, I don't go for the whole bloodstone/soul booster build. I feel like I have more or less enough of a mana pool with mana boots and Agh's. Also I go for vanguard after Boots>Ring of Health>Arcane Boots despite the advice not to. So I guess I heavily modified it, however, the idea of the build made me appreciate hunger more, and that's made me a much better Axe player. The early harass in off-lane with double helix is off the hook as well, unless you're playing against very experienced players, it's hard for them to counter early on.

I've been using a variation of Dunkin' Bro Nuts lately and I love it. That Nick Herman guy has it right, hunger is where it's at! Soooo good! Axe with mana is happy axe!

Is there a way to make it so more people can actually make guild games? It appears that the lower ranked individuals can't even start a game lobby. Edit: It appears a reboot of DotA 2 fixed this?

Howdy! Listened to the cast ever since I heard about them on the 2012 Oktoberkast! Big fan, and especially love Dota Today. (You know, when it's active...) The guys always crack me up with their easy going tomfoolery!

Howdy! Avid listener of the casts. Was hoping I could figure out what type of sacrifice I must commit to join the Dota Today guild? It seems that nicely asking in the barren idlethumbs dota 2 channel doesn't work! =P Edit: Oh yea, I forgot, my steam id is also RyanRad and it has a avatar picture of Omniknight.
