These aren't Lets Players but they're similar (also better) than Errant Signal: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5CYeHPLer3lbEhgonvbbAA https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWqr2tH3dPshNhPjV5h1xRw https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCI3GAJaOTL1BoipG41OmfyA

Idle Cook Club - Veggie Feeds-me: My Body Is Ready
Jutranjo replied to SuperBiasedMan's topic in Idle Banter
I doubt I'll make anything out of beans but if you like the look of prebranec but want something less tasty, try a mineštra/minestrone. -
Depends where you live, here you could easily get 6-7 tickets, probably more, for 40 euros.

That one's also cool but I don't have it in my steam library edit: I actually have it but I missed it -

Idle Cook Club - Veggie Feeds-me: My Body Is Ready
Jutranjo replied to SuperBiasedMan's topic in Idle Banter
I don't know actual english cooking terminology, I guessed some of what I wrote and googled nearly all the spices. I used this thing It's bone dry pasta sheets, I just put them on directly without cooking or even dipping in water. The rest of the stuff seemed moist enough to make up for it. -

That's the meat filling. I fried some onions and garlic on olive oil till they started getting glassy/brown. Added minced meat (mixed beef and pork), chopped carrots as well as salt and pepper and mixed till it started browning/drying up. Then I added store bought pelati (peeled tomato sauce), rinsing out the bottle with a little hot water, plus basil and thyme. I covered that pan and let it cook for around 30ish minutes, maybe 40? That's around 650g of meat, 3 mid sized carrots, 3 small onions, 3 cloves of garlic, around 400 mL of pelati The picture's the bechamel sauce. Melted around 150 g of butter, added flour and kept mixing to avoid clumps, then added around 0.5L of milk (out of the fridge) as well as salt, pepper and nutmeg. Constructing it, I used store bought dough leaves. I buttered the bottom of a metal baking pan, added sauce, added a layer of dough, meat filling, sauce, dough, meat sauce, etc. At the top I put all the leftover meat and most (30%) of all the sauce, making sure I covered the sides so they don't dry up. Left cooking for ~35 minutes at 220 C here's about 1/3 that was left over. I liked the taste, it didn't come out damp and it also held itself together. -
Race, language and cultural barriers to game development
Jutranjo replied to Bjorn's topic in Video Gaming
Not directly to do with game development but if you don't speak English well you can't really get into tech, IT, fantasy/scifi books, etc. The name filtering sounds like some nightmarish bureaucracy. -

I think Vainamoinen is the only person on the forums that refuses to install Steam.

Yeah, when you're starting out it's hard to be fast enough and actively looking for opponent's items. Even good players won't notice someone having a blademail built if they kept it hidden and were then found in the jungle. It's a legit strat to hide crucial Blink Daggers on stuff like supports, earthshakers, sand kings, etc. Most anything with a good AOE stun is a good hero to hide a blink if the enemy's going to be pushing your towers very soon. You can look up enemy heroes abilities here (http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Heroes) when they're picked/you see them in your lane. Very few heroes will instantly kill you at level 1 (level 2 there's batrider and ursa that can go very badly if you don't know what they do). Here's an item list http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Items

Funny that Witcher 3 is actually sold as DRM free first as opposed to most AAA, GOTY games.
-
I dunno, in Hearthstone/Netrunner I'll maybe look up cards in advance but I won't _learn_ all of them till I've encountered them all in enough games. Lots of times you play in a more competitive atmosphere with a self made deck that uses less used cards and your opponent will go "Wait what does this card do?".
-
It'll also easily (10k of a stat maybe?) crash your game and cause you to clip through walls/hills if you get too much speed.
-
Yeah, that's 100% dota. But aren't all multiplayer games going to surprise you with stuff the enemy's doing that you yourself don't know about, even if you don't have to pay some microtransactions?
-
I don't know how well asynchronous play works with Heroes of Might and Magics, it might? 3 might have, I dunno about the newer ones but it's all turn based with mouse controls.
-
Memorizing the hundred+ heroes is only the start. When you get used to the map you might know juke paths and which specific trees to eat to get away safely while the enemy keeps searching for you behind a tower. Also I'd say that seeing the skills after you see someone/they kill you is fine, you're going to be making uninformed decisions for 100+ hours easily.
-
I don't know who the tutorials are aimed for but I imagine most people who don't know anything about the game would see these two lines as 100% conflicting - Kills creeps to kill towers to get to the enemy ancient - Don't push the lane, only attack to last hit You can left click on an emey to select them and hover over their abilities to read tooltips of skills and items. If the skills did damage you can hover over them in the death overview. I'd say Clinkz isn't a great beginner hero, he doesn't really do great unless you're farming fast enough or getting tons of kills. You might be invincible in your games due to noone buying detection items though. If you're behind Clinkz'll feel like a shit hero. Stuns are great and always relevant.

No you only need to make potions to buff your int which buffs your int potions which buffs your int etc.
