My extra long network cable gets here today so I'll run that around my apartment tonight and start using my stuff more. Excited to play RE 4 again with this thing. Bless you humble bundle.

Did everyone who preordered get that email saying that valve is giving you all their games, including any future games they make both cause the hardware doeant work with OS X right now? I know I've logged on to my steam account a while ago on my GFs macbook, but I've been on windows exclusively for years. Shows up as "valve friends and family" in my account history.

I'm mixed on the steam-troller. I really like the trackball style aiming for shooters, but fiddling with configuring it leaves me frustrated. Hopefully more community templates will help with that. The Link is fucking rad as hell though. I'm on WiFi now while I wait for a longer Ethernet cable to ship, and most games are perfectly playable, though audio is pretty booked. We couldn't get some games to work properly, like Gang Beasts or Portal 2. I think Portal might have been messed up because I tried to play splotscreen before they added that and never cleaned out the configuration files. Also the Steam controller dodnt play well with 360 controllers, so I wasn't able to play screencheat with it. Boo.

Oh man, I need to plunk down the nine bucks or whatever for the pocket casts web player so I can just play stuff from my computer while I clean or whatever. I also just picked up 99% invisible and its so good! Different interesting topics and it's usually under 30 minutes! Need more casts to be shorter like that.

My stuff should get here today! Did the link come with an Ethernet cable? How long is it? Trying to see if I'll need to pick up a long one on my way home from work.

Speaking of an "Oh shit" button, what kind of keybinds do you all use? I have spells on Q W E R (D F), items on Z X C V and the two thumb buttons on my mouse (the bigger one usually gets an important activatable like Blink or Euls or whatever), Space will select my hero, so a double tap will return the camera to them. F2 selects courier and F3 is always "deliver items." Also I mostly use edge panning, which is apparently not optimal(?) but I just hate having to use middle mouse to drag the screen around.

Isn't the Reddit the largest Dota forum at this point? I mean, its not like people in game don't have bad attitudes and say horrible garbage in game. The juvenile gamerbro community is the biggest reason I don't try to get other people to check out esports, even though I love Dota. It's a shame because with esports its a whole new field where the attitudes and competition could be more welcoming and inclusive than traditional sports, but it's the same toxic garbage anyway.

Don't think there's a way to queue up with people on another system, unless they added it in a recent patch.

American Ultra does look pretty good, but Max Landis seems so insufferable it makes me not want to go see his movies. I started watching Rick and Morty and its pretty good! Not up there with Steven Universe for me, but it's darn good.

Man, this is the kind the exact reason I can't really get into pro dota. So many roster changes and team scrambles and disbanding. I like a handful of players, but have absolutely no connection to any of the teams at all. It's not even like the teams have mascots are are representing a city or anything like in traditional sports. Bah!

New Humble Bundle up. Namco-Bandai games. Every tier seems to have a few winners. Pacman championships in the dollar tier is a great deal, and dark souls(!) is the $10 bonus. Anyone have thoughts on those versions of ridge racer or ace combat?

I'm actually totally into the idea of this. The first one was something my friends played a lot of, but I never had a 360 so I didn't. Would love a streamlined RTS, StarCraft is way too hard for me.
