I've been having trouble with some games running with a black border all around the screen even though its set at my monitor's resolution and I can't seem to figure it out at all. Company of Heroes does it consistently, but that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head. I'm using a radeon hd 7870 on the newest drivers and all that. Any ideas?

Has anyone read Dan Savage's latest column? I know a lot of people in online feminist circles hate him already and I'm sure this won't help. I generally agree with the gist of what he says though. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Also, please please please don't hesitate to seek professionally assistance if you need to. As someone who has struggled with depression for most of my life, including a few suicide attempts, I can't stress it enough. Therapy and/or meds are really great and can help out a ton. There is a stigma about it and it is hard to ask for help but it's definitely worth it. You seem pretty rad based on your posts here, and even though I may be just an internet semi-acquaintance I'm pulling for you and I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.

I had tried to get back into hearthstone again this week because of the new expansion coming out. Things went better yesterday than they had in the past, I made a meager deck that won like 5 out of 7 games I played. Tried some arena today and some guy added me after my first game to tell me in broken english that I was bad and then deleted me from his friends list. So I uninstalled the game. Fuck it.

That's me! I've been posting there for years. I even made the gameological steam groups and john Teti mailed me a cool button and thank you card! And yeah, I think disqus was when things drastically shifted. You used to have jokey reference threads but also insightful comments. Now its mostly white noise and the occasional idiot with a dash of OK comments. Games articles tend to fare better, oddly enough.

I'm Fyodor Douchetoevsky over there, but I mostly post on The Dissolve anymore. AVC comments aren't nearly as not shitty as they used to be. Or maybe they were always trash. Gameological was really good while that lasted.

How or why would they do pay to win? Did they say it would be free to play? I'm sure there must be a fighter with a league of legends type character system, but I don't know of any big names that would do that.

It's just easier for me to type in the name of the game I want to play or browse through my installed list and settle on something. It's fine.

Started organizing my games thanks to this thread and when I add to one category it takes them out of the main games category and that is bad. I want to have a master list and then also be able to browse by tags. Going to have to go through and ungroup everything again.

No, not really. It only blocks everyone for people who sign up for it, which I'm not sure how many people did, but its vastly vastly less than the amount of people who are actually on the list. I still got a bunch of gg randos in my replies after using the hash tag yesterday.

Can you tag games into multiple categories yet? And can you do batch tagging? I used to have mine organized by multiplayer, completed, currently playing, etc but It was a hassle and I switched to Favorites and Games, and now I don't have any tagged favorites and just list installed games and type in the first few characters of what I want to play. I'd love to have it organized, but it was a huge pain to manually change them one by one and have to come up with vague but still useful sorting methods. I want a folder of local multi games, then also local coop, local vs, etc, while still having them tagged as multiplayer because most of them have online multi anyway.

The one dollar tier of the sega humble bundle seems like a great deal. I've heard nothing but good things about that kart racer.
