  1. Black Lives Matter

Not only murders them, but gets out scott fucking free! All one has to look at is how we treat white terrorists that do mass shootings or harm against PoC. Do they get killed right away, have some false story of them coming at the cops and get treated as thugs in the media and society? Fuck no. They get a chance and have some story of mental illness. Do we ever talk about the mental illness that afflicting millions of black and brown children in inner-cities? Fuck no. The only time we hear it is when white folks do something Fuck this country. Fuck white people.
  2. Life

I gotta say, life's pretty good right now. I've found the right combination of medication to help level me out. I'm no longer feeling depressed, manic and suicidal. This leveling out has made me more confident in myself and what I have to bring to the table. I no longer feel a burden to mankind or my parents or my friends. I actually had to learn to fight those thoughts and know how to get out of it when they invade my thoughts. Got some new gear so I can start podcasting. I'm going to get a portable recorder and starting recording random people I come across. I want to do a Voice of Sacramento and have their unique life and voice shared across the world. I also want to start a venue for live podcasting and storytelling.

Marlon James, winner of the Booker award, is going to be writing a new book! http://www.vulture.com/2015/12/marlon-jamess-new-book-will-be-an-african-got.html?mid=fb-share-vulture What really gets me down is the amount of detail he's going to put down. Never cared for such things, even if he's exaggerating a bit.

Oh! Oh! Beautiful! Pratt is a master of visual storytelling. I really enjoy the comics did when he was in Argentina and post-Corto Maltese. I personally think this comic is his best work: He was always spot on with military and native costuming and traditions.

Southern Reach really got under my skin--especially all of Annihilation--and unnerved me. It was definitely my favorite series of 2014. Right now, I'm going through The Moor's Account and The Book of Night Women The Book of Night Women is a hard read because of how it's written: "Every negro walk in a circle. Take that and make of it what you will. A circle like the sun, a circle like the moon, a circle like bad tidings that seem gone but always, always come back.” But once you get into the flow of the language, it's quite hypnotizing. It's a painful read though. “People think blood red, but blood don't got no color. Not when blood wash the floor she lying on as she scream for that son of a bitch to come, the lone baby of 1785. Not when the baby wash in crimson and squealing like it just depart heaven to come to hell, another place of red. Not when the midwife know that the mother shed too much blood, and she who don't reach fourteen birthday yet speak curse 'pon the chile and the papa, and then she drop down dead like old horse. Not when blood spurt from the skin, on spring from the axe, the cat-o'-nine, the whip, the cane and the blackjack and every day in slave life is a day that colour red. It soon come to pass when red no different from white or blue or black or nothing. Two black legs spread wide and mother mouth screaming. A black baby wiggling in blood on the floor with skin darker than midnight but the greenest eyes anybody ever done seen. I goin' call her Lilith. You can call her what they call her.”

Still listening, but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a Latin American Fallout game. Not a ruined landscape, but the exact opposite: a landscape that's come to life that's covered buildings and is larger than usual ; it's a radiated tropical jungle. It's all populated with a mixture of different Latin Americans cultures and languages. All of it under the hand of a dictator.
