I absolutely hate that. I'm feeling some of the depression symptoms I had before creeping up on me at the moment. For me it displays itself as a disinterest in things I love and a constant feeling of tiredness. I think it's been triggered by a major failing at work - a project I've been working on for 2 years is basically shit, and probably going to get canned. Can't help blaming myself even though my boss keeps telling me it's not my fault. I've been focussing on the positives, but I've lost my enthusiasm for my job, and with my contract ending in a year, I need it back so I can make at least some progress and get an extension on that. Enough of my moaning... To Cine: sorry to hear about that, your troubles are far worse than mine and I'm glad you're still here. It really puts things in perspective to hear things like that.

Back on topic: I've successfully delayed it for 3 hours, 2 days in a row now. Kinda uncomfortable, but if I reckon I can keep it in up.

Hyrule Warriors. I kinda liked the game, it's pretty, it's got loads of cool Zelda stuff, the combat is...fulfilling. The main contributor to my quitting is that I lost a bunch of saved data because I'm dumb and didn't follow Nintendo's guidelines for an external HD. However, I realised that I was playing it in a pretty mindnumbing way. I'd have it on the tablet while I was watching TV, and just grind through levels. I kinda enjoyed it for that, but it wasn't engaging enough. I don't regret the purchase, and I might even start it up again (when I get a new HD), just for the play-while-watching part. It's also got a huge amount of content for what it is. Still, QUITTED.

I couldn't get past the 2 hour mark. I've got a super low tolerance for bad games, mainly because my backlog is so long (actually it's not very long any more, but when this was released it was huge) and my time so precious. It's not even one of those games where you can say "the writing sucks, but the game play is amazing." Nope, the mechanics are weak too... If you can get enjoyment from a more academic standpoint, like Bjorn, then great, but I thought it wasn't worth my time.

Finally, I will now get to play MM. I remember searching for it in Electronics Boutique every single weekend as a kid. I only ever found it once and it was like £100 so my mum wouldn't even consider it. I don't know why it was so rare in my home town, did they not release a load in Europe or something? Anyway, YES!! Really excited for this.

I can't push the time back (unfortunate wording) because I head to the gym pretty early in the morning. With the physical exertion, I'd be really worried about letting slip. Especially if I was doing squats. Maybe I should just eats bunch of curries and try to reset the whole thing by destroying it completely.

It came! My initial feelings are he opposite to Twig. I love the gameplay, it grabs me and makes me want to keep playing. A cool thing though: this game passes the Bechdel test within the first cut scene.

I had prime for the GC or Wii, and I didn't really enjoy it. Don't really know why though. Going back and playing it would be uncomfortable now, I've grown incredibly accustomed to HD graphics that playing 3D era games without them is difficult for me. 2D games are fine though. Super Metroid is pretty hard, not in the combat, but that there is literally no hand-holding whatsoever, no fast travel and the map is pretty big. Currently stuck in Norfair, I assume I've tried every option, but I'm about to trek back in the hopes a new area has opened up for me (I'm not asking for help, just mentioning it). I'll try the GBA games for sure though.

Out of the VC games I've tried, Super Metroid is the only one that I can truly say I like. I like it a lot though, and I'm starting to see the love for the Metroid series that I never understood. Are there any other must play games in the Metroid franchise? I'd rather go forward in time, as I really struggle to enjoy NES games.

My partner tried watching rugby once. It's a difficult sport to explain.

I poop fine, it just happens at the same time everyday, and that time is super inconvenient for me. I think only needing to go at one time of the day is really useful, if only I could control what that time was...

What exactly are you asking? Do people find them ok, or not ok at the same time? Do people find them ok, and other people find them not ok?

Classes would be cool, I just didn't expect them in there. I guess my expectations were "low" which doesn't mean I think the game is going to be bad, just that I wasn't thinking about classes, multiple weapons or melee action. So is it advantageous to sit at the back, just painting every spot you can find, or is it better to work your way forward and paint over the opponents paint?

Because they're hot... That's interesting though: So would an Asari appear as a hot lady to a straight dude and a gay woman, whilst simultaneously appear as a buff man-hunk to gay men and straight ladies? It's not possible to say for definite based on the game, since any Femshep that does the nasty with an Asari could be gay, and seeing the hot lady version of the Asari.

Wait...the USA have a rugby team?! That plays against one of the best international teams in the world?

Kudos for doing something different, however I'm going to disagree with everyone here and say: KEEP THE BEARD! As a man who can't grow facial hair - it's sparse and patchy, if I grow it out (by being too lazy to shave, never on purpose) I look like a teenager who's got his first facial hair and think it looks cool - you have to keep the almighty beard. I'd love to have a beard at least once, but I don't ever see it happening. So on behalf of all the semi-men like me, display your beard with pride.

I'm really interested in splatoon, I actually think its art style might save it from being populated with teenagers like every other shooter. What do you mean by "that's it" though? I can't say in was expecting more than that. The thing that concerns me the most is whether the shooting mechanics will be fun. If I'm spraying a wall with paint, that sounds tedious!

Well, just ordered it from amazon. Both 1 and 2 should be here on Tuesday. Although I won't have any time to play until the weekend.

I finished Shadow of Mordor. Well that sure was a game. Wasn't anything particularly amazing, but it did have an interesting mechanic. I liked it enough I get all the achievements, but I think that was mainly because the achievements were mostly quite interesting ways to interact with the nemesis system. I liked it, it was a pleasant distraction from destiny, and totally worth the money. So I guess thumbs up!

Yeah the tutorial in that is entirely optional. I can't remember exactly, but I think the guy just asks if you've done it before (it being heroing as Link). I'm pretty sure Nintendo has taken in the consumer feedback on this stuff, and hopefully noticed how much people love developers like Platinum and FromSoftware despite those two ignoring tutorials. I've not been excited for a Zelda game for a long time, but LBW has made me super excited for zeldaU

I don't think I've played a WiiU game that's had an obtuse or overbearing tutorial...yet.
