Super Smash Bros. (Spoiler: Snake Kills Ganondorf)

Very, very good point. My preferred play style is to pick my fights which is generally why I prefer faster characters. I just need more practice, I still have that horrible feeling where I know I should be better, but I'm not. Kinda like going back to play an instrument you've not touched in years, then realising that you can't do the same things you could when you put it down. It's a shitty feeling! -
Meh I think your reaction is fair, he kinda pisses me off too. Not so much that I can't listen to GB though.

When I said "etc" it was because I couldn't remember all the DoT spell names. I played as a thief and my entire build was made around stunning to increase damage and DoTs. Was just really frustrating for bosses to essentially be auto-attack for my character.
-
I had a lot of fun with Stick of Truth, but I never finished it. One pretty pathetic thing annoyed me: your abilities like stun etc wouldn't work on bosses. What's the point in letting me choose these abilities if I can't use them when I need them? I dunno, dumb reason, but I really hate when that happens.

So apparently this could be happening: https://twitter.com/AlanarWindblade/status/540078952396898304'>Rune Factory 4 coming to EU. Pretty cool! I was really excited for this and pissed that I'd never get to play thanks to region locking.

I loathe Little Mac. He's just the opposite of my playstyle. Really feeling villager after playing last night. His pocket move is just great. I managed to pocket a mega man's fully charged beam in one-on-one and then hit him with it after doing a bit more damage. Felt super good. The tree is annoying. If you get the hit, you're basically guaranteed a KO, but any player who knows what's going on will just steer clear of it. The online is pretty good, although I don't think there's any match making. I got matched up against a couple of people who are on my (fairly low) level, and against one girl who absolutely annihilated me - as in she got 3 KOs with me doing a grand total of 40% damage. That was frustrating as hell! -
That makes some sense with regards to the nomenclature.

Fuck. Tears of laughter at work. Well played.

I'm not trying to be deliberately dense, but why on earth is it called a "Grand" jury, when its job could be fulfilled by a judge or team of experienced barristers glancing over the files for a couple of hours? Just seems like an utter waste of time and money, while the name suggests it's of the utmost importance. I dunno, I assumed grand jury would be about judging super high profile cases that have had way too much media attention for people to remain impartial. Instead, it's a pretrial to see if there's a point in going to trial. Just have the fucking trial and save half the effort.

I played about 10 mins of the multiplayer and thought it was boring as hell. Might give it another go, but the single player is really what I'm interested in. That thing is like 100+ hours long, so I need to get cracking!

I went from Pikachu to Young Link to skipping a generation. Toon link doesn't have the same feel as young link, and N64 pikachu is best pikachu. Falco seems to feel a little different now too. I'm leaning towards Villiager and Geninja though. -
I'm not particularly well versed in American (or any) legal...stuff. I'm not even sure I understand the point of a grand jury. It's a trial to see if a trial can happen? That just sounds pointless to me. Fuck! That's horrific. The kid is on his own, no one around. The police come rolling in and shoot him instantly. Then walk about for a while. That's pretty damning. It doesn't even make sense. I can't see them telling him to raise his hands in that amount of time.

The teaser didn't do much for me. It was a bunch of random shots that basically said nothing. No more, or less excited than I was previously.

Good luck with that! £10 pm is a pretty good price! A lot of my buddies joined a gym for the same reason - get fit for a wedding, then kept going. I'm looking to join a boxing gym. I've decided I want to learn how to fight, plus it'll be fantastic exercise. Rocking up and being like "hi, can I fight please?" is probably more terrifying to me than the actual combat.

That bugs me too. Also I'd like to set default smash to stock, rather than time. Might be a way, but I've not figured it out yet. Super fun! Can't decided on a main yet. -

I suck. I suck so much. 10 years have passed and I thought my skills would remain. I can't even tilt attack any more! -
I've had a pretty funny bug. When giants attack with their jumping stomp, about 2/3 of the time, they actually jump super high into the air, land and take a bunch of fall damage. Then I just need to hit them twice to kill them. Makes giants obscenely easy. I decided to restart. I like the game so much I felt that I wanted to get the platinum which means playing on Insanity. It's not as hard as I thought it would be. Once you get the party together and get a few points to help CC stuff, it becomes manageable. The first hour is the hardest. I decided to go with mage because warrior wasn't really doing it for me. I do not regret my choice. The main difference between insane and normal, is that I have zero chance of taking on enemies 2 levels above me. Plus I can't rely on the AI for anything.

I'm the worst. I just preordered the WiiU version today. I told myself I wouldn't buy it until January. I didn't even make it to the release date -
With that many witnesses, and that amount of disagreement, the result isn't surprising. I wonder how many of those were actually "after-the-fact" witnesses. With the amount of media and social media attention, I'd be willing to be more than a few (especially those "few blocks" away people).

I have done that, but it just feels weird!

That sounds crazy. I have the same issue with BMI. Doctor told me I need to lose 10kg fast, because I'm less than a point away from "obese". I'm not ripped, I have fat, but I'm not anywhere near obese. I'm almost as fit as I was when I was a teenager, but significantly stronger. Meh, BMI is bullshit.

This kind of upsets/angers me. My father is incredibly racist, but he's certainly not a piece of garbage. I can hate that part of him, disagree with what he says, but I can also easily forgive someone who was brought up in a racist era, in an especially racist country and still holds those thoughts. It's not like he's a politician.

My answer is pretty lame. I don't search for outside information, until I have to. Although I do like reading about how combat or crafting mechanics work to the tiniest detail. I do that without needing to.

I went in with a default world-state considering I didn't play DA2 and when I went to DA Keep I had forgotten everything I did in Origins years ago. I'm desperate to start a new save to see if I prefer one of the other classes, but 30 hours in feels too late to restart, especially as I'm really enjoying Reaver spec. I'm pretty sure I'd like mage a lot more than in DA:O. In Origins mage was incredibly boring, and I found myself playing the healer, making sure my retarded AI team mates didn't die. Without those healing spells, and with all the CC abilities, I bet mage would be amazing. Maybe I'll restart on Insane as a mage - I am tempted to go for the Platinum on this because it's so much fun.

I have a confession: I never learned my times tables except for 2 and 5 because they were easy. Now I'm in science. I'm a terrible person.
