I hate that I only listen to gaming podcasts. I just like them because I don't need to listen. If I tune out while talking to someone or concentrating on something it means nothing to me that I missed a small section. Whereas if I'm listening to science or history, if I tune out, I need to go back or I won't understand what they're talking about. I'd like to find a way around that, but it's pretty difficult. It also doesn't help that I tend to have a backlog of podcasts to listen to.

Pretty much this. Not to mention the dangers of not knowing what the hell you're actually buying when you buy weed. Of course you can grow it yourself. That makes sense, but I'm sure there are other FDA approved drugs that you could also try. Yeah, I guess that's true. But the LD50 (50% of people will die at this dose) is 650mg/kg. I believe each ambien tab is 5mgs, meaning the average male will need thousands of tablets to die. To put it into perspective; caffeine has an LD50 of 200mg/kg, THC (not weed, the active substance) has an LD50 of 42mg/kg. Saying "death" is a side effect of something is incredibly misleading, as death is a side effect of anything in a high enough dose over a short enough time.

The only thing on the PSN store for me is the upgrade to full edition from PS+ edition. So essentially nothing.

Why? It seems completely irrational that you'd rather take weed than a drug that has to go through FDA approval.

My TV is an off-brand I got super cheap, so the WiiU doesn't recognise it. Plus I don't use the TV for anything other than my consoles. First Light is quite fun, I liked it too, and second son is basically the same thing, but longer. Cool, I guessed it'd be something like that, you just never know if there's a random number at the end or an underscore in there or something.

It's on the store for me, but it's not possible to buy. Weird.

I really like my PS4, and I find myself booting it up to watch netflix etc, which I could easily do from my WiiU or laptop. I find the controller to be incredibly comfortable to, like my hand are the perfect size for it. It also reminded me how much I hate playing games on PC, I just much prefer the console style of gaming, and it's actually got my partner playing games too. The share button is kinda pointless because I don't have facebook, so I'm never sharing anything, and the screenshot taking is so delayed you have to set things up rather than a quick "HOLY SHIT THAT'S COOL!" shot. I've taken a few videos, but I doubt I'll ever watch them. Yeah I got infamous for £20 second sonhand. Really enjoyed it, but it would have left me sour if I'd paid £50 for it. Did you put your PSN on the share thread? I don't seem to have you added.

I still think it'll be better to buy this game in March/April when it's like 2/3rds of the price. I wanted to go all digital this gen, but with the speed that physical releases drop in price, I'm being drawn back to buying discs and filling my house with useless plastic.

How is Driveclub in general? Do you feel you got your money's worth? I've spotted it going for real cheap physical, but its sudden absence from the PSN store makes me worry that it's still a broken mess.

Strange how it works. I wonder if it's the dynamics of who generally owns Nintendo systems. I feel the classic "Nintendo is for children" is wrong, since any parents with children I know (which I admit isn't many) have bought their child a Ps4. So I doubt it's anything to do with age of consumer.

I don't get how Nintendo games hold their price for so long. I was in my local supermarket, and noticed all those Ps4/Xbone games released in November are between 33%-50% off their original price (with Drive Club being only £25! Almost enough to tempt me to buy the broken game). DK Tropical Freeze on the other hand is still full price despite coming out in February(?) last year.

I really like that challenge! It's hard as hell, but it requires you learn how to move perfectly.

I'm currently playing Rayman but it's only coop with my partner. She seems to have lost interest in it (and only cares about Binding of Isaac now) so i doubt I'll ever finish it. It's damn good though, but I've not come across anything incredibly difficult.

I'm desperate to try out Tropical Freeze, and hopefully build up my platforming skills before I attempt that level again.

Yeah, saying it's not possible is hyperbole. I tried peach+tanooki, peach+cat, luigi+tanooki and luigi+cat. Never made it past the blue/pink flipping blocks. The worst part is that by the time I get there, I'm stressed out and focussing so hard on not making a mistake, that I always make a mistake.

Ew, I just looked at the animation, and the art style is more the standard anime style rather than that odd, different look in the game. Persona 4 does that as well. I love the character portraits, but the anime cut scenes completely change the look of the characters to a standard style.

That implies you know someone who drinks alcohol as a personality defining feature. I knew a guy who would call himself a "junkie" all the time. He was ok in small doses (badum-tss) but if I was with him for an extended period of time, all he talked about were drugs. Just wasn't interesting. He wasn't a bad person, incredibly friendly, just kinda boring.

I don't know whether to get a new phone or not. My current phone does everything I want (although it's a bit slow and google maps doesn't work) but has a cracked screen. I just feel like upgrading from my old Nokia to an iphone was revolutionary, but upgrading from a 4 year old iphone to a new one won't change much. I'll be excited, but after a day it'll just be the same phone, but I've thrown £X00 away to get it.

I played some Destiny last night, and I forgot how much I enjoy it. The game play is just divine. I just felt like it was pointless because I know I'm never going to raid. So...what's the point? I've put easily 60+ hours in, so I know the game play inside out. I just wish there was something to keep me interested because it's not a bad game.
