Pretty much describes my interaction with the game. The Burst had great initial phases, but the last one was grossly difficult! I'd also like to try again, but I don't think I will touch it for a while, I have so much in my back log, and for some reason, I've gotten into Rocket League. I hated it when it first came out, but now I play a couple of matches every night, and I'm really enjoying it.

Ok, I finally managed to complete something. Furi on PS4. It's basically a space/future Samurai boss fighting game. Lots of bullet hell sections, dodging tons of attacks, and parrying melee attacks. Pretty cool sound track and an odd, but appealing design. It was free on PS+, and something I'd never have bought, but I'm glad it was there, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. My only criticism, is that some bosses had easy early phases, then a practically impossible last phase. You die and have to repeat from the beginning. There were only a couple of serious offenders out of 10 bosses. Well worth playing if you like fast paced action games.

That's also my problem. I love long, huge games, but I don't have time to play them. Although I don't have a child, I just have friends and an addiction to work and training. There's so many games I want to play, but I have so little time.

I now have a back log again thanks to a bunch of sales, and picking up some older games. It's the worst having a back log, I feel pressure to play games which is just wrong! I need to make it through a few just so I can feel calm about it again.

So my opinion on the game aligns pretty closely to the giant bomb crew. It's official, I'm now an old man shouting at a cloud.

Well I tried and it went horribly. She was bargaining and a lot more willing to do things to keep it going than I expected. I promised to think about what she said, which means I now have to go through the whole thing again in a week. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, and I'm not really sure how I can do it twice.

I want to break up with my long distance girl friend. I have no idea how to do it. Thinking about it makes my stomach sink, but we're both clearly not happy with how things are going. She constantly complains about me, and I never want to just stay home and talk on the phone or something. I don't find it fun, and it doesn't feel like we connect when I do. The problem is, she's having a really hard time right now. No money, parents refusing to help her too. It's going to be for 6 months. I really don't want to wait for 6 months, we'll both be unhappy, but I don't want to push her in to depression when she needs me. argh, this is the worst, I should have just ended it when she moved away.

Oh I understand why people like it. I just think they did a bad job with it. I could even forgive the glaring issues it has if the app was actually stable. Crashes, freezes, loading...

I'm really talking about the overall pace of the game. I definitely prefer a slower paced PVP experience, but I've not really touched the PVP in a while, so I assume I'll be awful. The PVE just feels too slow for me now. I can't sprint around the arenas dodging everything and using hit and run tactics. I tend to find a safe spot, shoot, move to a new safe spot.

I can't play Destiny any more. Every time I try, the whole game just feels so freaking slow. DOOM has really shifted my perception of what an FPS should play like.

The thing is, it's still an awful app. It's poorly made, and the social aspect, what social aspect? You can't even add friends to battle them or see how their pokedex is coming along. I expected more, it's pretty much devoid of content, and the content is has is incredibly shallow.

So this finally came out in the UK, and I was crazy excited to play it. It's absolutely shit. I feel like I spend 50% of my time in a loading screen. The random encounters are too random (40 minutes of walking and not a single pokemon) and it seems to be missing what makes pokemon interesting. Instead of trying to catch them all, you're trying to catch multiple of the same pokemon, then get rid of it. You can't battle friends, and from what I can tell, the battle system is nothing like pokemon. There's no damage chart, and rock-paper-scissors style play. Why is this so popular? It's barely a game, and what game it does have isn't fun. They've thrown out all what makes pokemon pokemon.

Losing connections is hard. One thing I've learned from my recent move to another country, is that saying "yes" to things you think you don't want to do because of anxiety just leads to a better life. I have more friends now than I've had in years, all because whenever someone asks me to go for a beer/coffee/run I say yes, rather than my usual no.

I was in France for 3 days. My breakfasts consisted of coffee, 5-7 croissants with Nutella, half a baguette with ham, salami and cheese and a bowl of cereal. It was glorious.

Congrats on starting something! I honestly wish I enjoyed running, I just can't force myself to do it. It's one of my weaknesses, so I really should train it, but it just doesn't feel...right.

I'm a bit lost in Destiny actually. I've missed a lot and now have no idea what the aim of the game is. What am I supposed to be doing, other than just running stakes (which are now the worst because everyone goes into heroic strikes under geared and die instantly).

After a week of trying, 5 minutes after posting that it...just worked. It also feels SUPER SLOW after playing a bunch of DOOM. Feel like my character is moving through molasses.

Ok I have a Destiny/PS4 question. I can get to the character select screen, but after that it just will not load. I have tried other games, rocket league loads instantly. Doom slowly, but eventually gets there. Does anyone have any idea as to what is wrong, or what I could do to fix the issue? I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game, no difference.

I've never enjoyed a Tales of... game.

I finished DOOM (2016) last night. My god what a great game. I played through o ultra-violence, which I found quite difficult, but that sweet spot of difficulty where you die enough to feel challenged, but never enough to feel frustrated. I've made the comment before, but it feels like Bayonetta The Shooter, which means I've enjoyed it way more than I do most single player FPS campaigns. It also means however, that I find playing it stressful, and I'm going to need a break from playing it until I try and 100% it (because I have to, I loved it). If this is what the future of FPS games is, rather than the RT-LT/take cover to regen health, I'm down with the FPS genre.

It's more that I spent a long time of my life saying "no" to things sociable because I didn't really feel like doing anything in the moment. Now I just say yes, and I'm finding it really enjoyable, and I'm making friends way faster than I ever have before. My job is pretty toxic. While I like it, there's a backstabbing/snitching culture with some of the students and staff. I do 8am-5:30pm every day and get told I leave too early. It's just silly, and I'm doing my best to ignore it, but when I've got a 6 month probation period I can't really afford to fuck up.

I'm not posting one-pot stuff because that's pretty much how I cook 90% of the time. All I can say is that throwing chopped pickles into a stew makes it amazing.

I never have free time any more. Like, I work a decent amount (around 50-60 hours a week) but the rest of my time is filled with socialising or working out. I'm completely not used to this. I don't know if I like it or not, I kinda miss being bored and rarely seeing friends. At least I had time for video games then.

I got this last night since it was heavily discounted on PS4. Very excited to play, but damn, I now have a backlog again. I was doing SO well!
