Well yes, I get that. I love that robots are designed to be tools, yet all come with their own unique personality and free will...but what do they eat?!

Bleh, working too much to play. Didn't even leave work until 9

That's really gross. Ugh, it's that kind of thing that makes me want to keep 100% anonymity at all times. It's practically impossible if living in the same place as someone who once committed a crime means you can't even get a job interview.

In the episode Bend Her, Bender and Calculon are eating at Elzar's. Bender is clearly eating a leg of something, tearing off the flesh. In the episode Bendless Love, again at Elzar's Bender can be seen with a plate of what looks like salad and an insect.

I both love an hate robots in Futurama, and have so many thoughts about them but I really just want to focus on one: What the hell do robots eat?! It seems to be random by every episode. Sometimes they're eating oil or burning fuel. Sometimes they're eating meat and "human food." Bender is even told he doesn't have taste...yet happily eats in plenty of episodes. It's so confusing. Does that mean that when robots are eating human food it's just for show - it tends to be at fine restaurants, but we also know that those fine restaurants serve robot food. Similarly, if they don't have taste, why do they care what alcohol they drink? It's all so confusing.

Quitter's Club: Don't be ashamed to quit the game.

A lot of people really like it, and I'm definitely in the minority. There's always the ipad/phone versions which are easily available. I've never played Chrono Trigger, I'm sure I wouldn't like it, it is a JRPG and it's pretty rare for me to like them. -
Oh yeah! I wholeheartedly agree. Awesome little game.

Kid Icarus Uprising is a great game. You just have to get past the controls, which are bad if you're right handed, and downright awful if you're left handed. Don't forget about A Link Between Worlds. It's a really great Zelda game, that kinda messes with the formula.

I have some crazy fond memories of VHS. I, like miffy, am too young to have interact with betamax. Best part of VHS was lining up all my and my parents' videos like dominoes and setting them off through the house.

Keep going after the first ending. There are some REALLY good story missions. The replays are also excellent. Subsistence missions are just fantastic. I wish there were more of them.

I'm quitting The World Ends With You. I just have no idea what I'm doing. I really wanted to like it, I enjoyed the art style and the story seemed fairly interesting. I just disliked the "adventure game" style puzzles. Go here talk to this person who knows how to fix this so you can go back and talk to this other person...I just hate that kind of thing. Also the combat. When I concentrated and planned I got like D/C ranks. When I spammed the buttons and waggled the stylus all over the place with my eyes closed I'd get S ranks. That's not fun nor interesting. -
Twilight Princess HD! Next year.

Thanks for the info. I would love to learn a second language, I've heard that German is one of the more difficult European languages to learn. People responding in English is the main reason I couldn't learn Italian when I was younger. I would say something in my broken awkward Italian and everyone would reply in perfect English. I think people tend to be quite forgiving when it comes to tense and word gender, well from my experience speaking to a lot of Romanians and Poles if I can understand what they're trying to say, I don't correct them, I just have a conversation.

You know Fallout 4 is big, when your entire friends list on PSN stops playing Destiny for it.

Definitely ask, a month and a half sounds like a long time though, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
-
Wow that's some unexpected numbers. I have no idea if I'm completely disconnected from it, or whether people just don't admit to being christian any more. Anyway, thread derailing.

So I have an interview in Germany soon. I really want the job, and I think I've got a good chance of getting it. Do any German thumbs know how imperative it is for me to learn german if I do indeed get the job. Everyone I'd be working with directly speaks English so that's not a problem, but all the other people I'd have to talk to in normal life probably won't. It's not like I don't want to learn, and I will certainly try, but I'm incredibly bad at learning languages, so even if I do manage it, it'll take a long time. I spent a few months in Italy when I was younger and I barely learned a thing...

Man, when I find a game I can play loads of I'm super happy. It's like YES! This is why I do games, everything else can wait until this is done!

It was so boring! I think I was really close to the end actually.

I always feel guilty about a back log because it feels like wasted money. I don't have a back log because I want one, but because I'm an idiot who buys too many things.
-
I've made some serious progress since last time, and I've not bought a new game since MGSV. Well not one that's "finishable" since I'm not going to ever finish Mario Maker, that's just something that lasts forever.

Listening to the bombcast, it just sounds like more Fallout 3. Which is cool, but I had my fill of that. If there's nothing new in there, I'm kinda glad. I don't really want to play another 100+ hour open world game this year.

Out of curiosity moddy, do you like stealth games in general? I'm incredibly forgiving to stealth games because it's just my favourite genre. It seemed to die out for a while, but there's been a beautiful resurgence in it recently.

Yeah, I was skipping it on my previous play throughs, but I've been picking it every time now. The other perk isn't that great anyway. I've also been taking holo-targeting for them, which has been amazingly helpful. How important are the weapon upgrades? Before I'd always research laser then plasma, but the laser isn't that much of an upgrade really. Not sure if it's actually worth it.

With the new patch, you can get an old buddy back. You just have to play a certain mission 7 times (although it's easily completable in like 5 minutes). Pretty cool!
