I made a mistake in the black market that almost got me killed. And then I made a mistake in the black market that got me killed, but it was okay, because, you know, the ankh. And then the mistakes just kept piling up.

Now that you mention this, I think that this was a repeat daily. I remember watching a Nick and Chris stream where that caveman was on the left for one of them and on the right for the other and thinking it was strange at the time. I can't remember which day it was though.

I accidentally triggered an off-screen arrow trap which set off a shopkeeper before I was ready to. I managed to kill the shopkeeper only to flub running away from the ghost.

I decided to murder the first shopkeeper, but it did not go so well.

Pretty lackluster run, ended in the black market to a stupid mistake. The thing I'm more excited about is I finally achieved a no score run in this goddamn video game!

I stick a shopkeeper with a bomb, but he still manages to make a heroic leap and shotgun me down

I got myself trapped by a ghost. I just needed to make a decision about what to do a little bit faster.

Nice run today. There was a mattock in a crate that you ignored on 3-2, which would have been a safer way to gain access to the gems on that level, not sure if you saw it. I liked how you dealt with the giant spider on, what was it, 1-2 or 1-3? I can't remember. It didn't cross my mind to use a rope until I saw you do it. I should probably have thought of that.

Had a fight with a giant spider that did not go well at all for me today. Also, this might be unwatchable again, obs is still dropping like half the frames. I've been playing with the settings and I think I've got it figured out for tomorrow though.

Hmm... that's a good question... I think I'm somewhere around 80 hours on steam? But I've also played some Spelunky on xbla. I would guess somewhere around 100-120 hours all told? Man that sounds like a lot now that I think about it.

If you're wearing a cape and pick up a jetpack, you put on the jetpack and drop the cape. Edit: There was also the jetpack in the black market you could have picked up

I used to feel this way, but now that I'm used to them I prefer having them. They still screw me up occasionally, but they offer a tremendous amount of value in terms of mobility and giving you options that you wouldn't otherwise have.

I found myself in the black market with no bombs or ropes and probably 4 or so shopkeepers still alive. Decided to make a mad dash toward the exit and *almost* made it before dying right next to the exit. With the ankh wasted, I decided to head to the mothership once again.
