  1. Idle Digging - Shovel Knight

This is my GOTY so far I think.
  2. iOS Gaming

Does anyone play Bounden? It's super good. It has the same spaceteam effect of making you look like an idiot in a group. It's also out on Android now. (I wish this was just a general mobile gaming thread, since the overall traffic in here is low.)
  3. iOS Gaming

To what source do you go to find reviews and info about good* iOS and Android games? *no onscreen joysticks, FTP crap, overly drawn out experiences. I find extended play sessions on tablets and phones uncomfortable. Places like Toucharcade tend to cover everything. I need
  4. General Video Game Deals Thread

I'm loving some Dishonored right now, and totally anticipate getting into the DLC. it's on sale now, but the GOTY edition is cheaper than each of the DLC individually put together. Will I get a gift copy of the base game if I buy that?
  5. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

I purchased Tropical Freeze with my 25$ GC that I got from Mario Kart. My Wii U library is expanding rapidly (SM3DW, pikmin, Zelda:WW, MK8) since I purchased it around Christmas. After a several year hiatus, I am so back into Nintendo.

Everyone should buy battle block theater and play with a friend. It's incredibly well designed and makes you feel smart like a puzzle game at times.
  7. Idle Thumbs Criterion Film Club?

Do the Bing rewards work with chrome as your default browser?
  8. Transistor

For the "combos" it only happens during the "stop time" period. I'm loving the game, but I'm still figuring out the balance between doing combos and running away while I recharge. When running away the slow movement speed is a tiny hassle. Overall, the first hour is fantastic.
  9. Nintendo 3DS

    I'm playing it. Pretty great.
  10. Android Games

I beat hoplite for the first time! 71 after exiting at depth 16. Has Remo played this? Seems right up his alley.
  11. Android Games

You should stop saying Droid. Hoplite is fantastic. The wonderful Tom Francis sums it up well. It's a wonderful, simple game, the kind I've tried to get my wife to play to no avail.
  12. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hi, I've listened to Thumbs close to a few years, close to post-kickstarter time. This podcast has coincided and contributed to my growing interest in game development. I've half-heatedly lurked the forum for a few months. I think I already internet-know some people here from a different forum. I mostly play PC and Nintendo games in my fleeting free time.
  13. I made a custom Mage deck and was getting slaughtered handily almost every game. I switched back to standard Mage and won two in a row. I think I need to play a bunch more games to learn all the mechanical foibles before I delve into deck building.
