I agree, but its very rarely simple.

I think after careful consideration I would say I am pansexual. It's hard to distill everything about your sexuality into a term but I guess finding one that works is a good start.

I don't have many friends, but the ones I do have I love a lot! I was thinking I should maybe expand my group of friends and meet some new people. Do you guys have any advice? I tend to be very affectionate with my friends, this sometimes puts people off when we first start hanging out. I don't think this is a bad thing, maybe I am wrong? anyways you guys seem like a social group of people, any thoughts on meeting strangers?

Everything that happened in the past two weeks was about hurting people, 4chan was given a reason to attack someone that they already hated. Any real criticism about games journalism has been drowned out by people getting together to completely drag people through the mud for no reason. I do think that there is room for a conversation about games journalism but it has to happen in a safe and respectful environment, you guys are doing a pretty good of that so far.

I bought a rum and coke once and then the waitress followed me around for 30 minutes asking me if I knew who alex was? People thought I worked there and when I said hi to some people they just walked away. The second time I went is the night of the panic attack.

Also I think it is worth saying, I am sure most of you know this but some people don't. Making games is really hard, takes a lot of time and you tend to close yourself from people who don't make games. So your only real chance at relationships is with other games people. When you spend all of your time traveling or working on your game you need to be close to people who do the same. Also everyone I have become close with in games have been the sweetest people on the planet.

This is also a solid choice, consider putting kiss from a rose in the play list for later in the night

one of the problems I have been seeing lately is I am extremely shy. I went to a indie game dev meet up locally and when I walked into the bar, I bought a coke waved to one person, had a panic attack and left. I haven't been able to go back since because I am so scared no one will like me.

The thing that upsets me the most about all of this is it should never have been an issue. This whole thing has raised some questions about games journalism which is fine but everything surrounding it was extremely childish and disgusting. I am glad you guys are all every rational and are able to have a nice conversation about it. I hope this is the last time something like this happens because it is super fucked up. For reference when all of this stuff hit my mom called me to ask me about it, which is super gross and not cool.
