You really only need the prograde and retrograde vectors. The others only become important for getting to planets that are of axis from kebin.
If there is no thread currently for showing of the cool stuff you can make in this game I will just use this one.
So I'm that Darkness Guy form the stream and the pics I posted where from really simple builds but I lost everything in an reinstall recently so that was all I got.
So I will show you guys what I'm currently working on. The goal is to get to Laythe but not with just a small ship/lander. That wouldn't be much of a challenge at this point for me.
So I want to build a ship that has allot of landers, dornes and space planes on it and get it there. At the moment I spend about 50 hours on this monster and I'm not sure it will work.
Since I don't have a screen of the core in space here is what it looks like in the building area. It is a big core but also really stable. With the 4 docking ports the attached modules are a lot more stable.

After putting that thing in space I added 2 Drone Modules that will tell me all the info about Laythe that I could just look up on the wiki but I don't want to.

Since I don't just want to land on Laythe but also want to get back in space I added 4 Space Planes. Real simple design but capable of getting into kerbin orbit. At this point FPS drop to less than 15 when getting close to that thing what you can imagine is really great for complex docking maneuvers

Last bottom ring of cause are engines and since this thing is huge I need lots of engines and fuel. So I just added 4 big tanks with 4 atomic engines each for lots of thrust.

And this is where I'm currently at. I just addet 2 Dorp pods to get kerbins down on the surface. I don't really know what I put on the last outer 2 ports. Top will be some kind of cockpit.

So yeah I play this game quite a bit. Now I want to see what you are building. I love seeing all kinds of different rockets/ships and what not.
