On the page it evokes the strangeness and misery associated with the creatures. Spoken, it sounds like something a 12 year-old came up with when playing make-believe.

Excepting Ice,* you can rez cards pretty much whenever you want.** Once a card is rezzed, it stays that way unless something derezzes it. *Ice can only be rezzed when it is approached during a run. ** This is not strictly true - there are specific windows for when you can rez cards. But at the level you're at, it essentially works out to "whenever you want."

Cleinhun has the right of it. The only cards that can be advanced are Agendas, unless the card states otherwise.

Oh, you just said that you never thought about going bald as a kid, which I found surprising since it was something I've always been aware. I think I also saw Ghostbusters 2 before the original. I rewatched Ghostbusters recently and realized that I remembered almost nothing of the opening of that movie; I confused the beginning of the second movie with the beginning of the first.

I haven't played any Carcassonne expansions, but the newly released Carcassonne Gold Rush is supposed to be quite good. Also, my former roommate did the translation on the rulebook, so it should be comprehensible!

On this topic: Chris must not have had any bald men in his life as a young child. My dad, uncle and both grandfathers were all bald, so male pattern baldness is something I've always been aware of.

Hmm, I just looked over the article again and realized I had skimmed the last two paragraphs, missing that line (I do that sometimes). I agree that that section is tipping over into ego massaging and I wish she hadn't done that. I think the piece is great up until that point.

That conversation with Mordin was hilarious. It's a super awkward "I like you as a friend" conversation. Mordin is the best damn character.
