Yeah but the jacket is leather not spandex.
  2. "Ethics and Journalistic Integrity"

This is what I've found. You ask what happens once the changes they want have been made and there's nothing. E.g. Danielle says she's friends with Chris, who did the sound for Gone Home. She still loves the game (because it is objectively (ha!) good). She still gives it a 10. The only reason "moderate GG-ers" want that initial disclosure is so they can say "this opinion is irrelevant" if they don't want/like the game in question, which is, oh hey, exactly what they already do now. There is absolutely nothing worthwhile to the "ethics" some claim to want. They don't like games that aren't about high scores, they don't like having the things they enjoy questioned and they don't like that a website that has to put up 10 news stories a day can't write 10 stories about Assassin's Creed (because honestly, what can you say?) so chooses to talk about things they don't consider relevant to them. They may not be children but they're extremely childish. The same media they've been going to for years now talks to other people as well as them. What are the chances a lot of these people are very clingy and controlling in relationships? Dear Gamasutra, if I can't have you, no-one can.
  3. The Nintendo Wii U is Great Thread

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is the best example of GamePad use because it allows you to play Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

You got me blacklisted from Hop Sing's?!
  5. "Ethics and Journalistic Integrity"

    15 inches is ridiculously sized?
  6. Nintendo 3DS

Wait, I meant to say "Go nuts with your guts, Big N". Can a Mod edit my post?
  7. Nintendo 3DS

It has been confirmed, but not until 2015. So this is the play for Holiday sales as I guess they won't have enough manufactured for a worldwide release before then. Also the NES 3DS could have been way better designed. A NES pad on the top, considering you don't even see that when playing, is really redundant and pretty dumb. Customise your insides more, Nintendo.
  8. "Ethics and Journalistic Integrity"

I can't remember where I saw it, maybe in this thread, but these dumps of collusion and corruption was best summed up as: Well done whoever did that first. I'll take the credit from here, thankyouverymuch.
  9. Life

Why did Ben start a new page? What was wrong with the old one?
  10. What is the Nadir of the Simpsons?

It's basically a different show but the first two seasons of The Simpsons are maybe my favourite of them all. It's absolutely not as funny as the 4 or 5 seasons that followed but, as a comedy-drama, it is unbelievable. How many comedy programmes would have an episode based around the father becoming depressed and attempting suicide? An episode about infidelity where the wife is the one who questions her marriage? An episode about learning to respect women! Uh... a lot of serial killers! And this is for a cartoon, ostensibly aimed at a family audience. Man, I'm going to watch some Simpsons tonight.
  11. Velocity 2x

I don't know if that's a really valid criticism, Mington. It's a score attack shmup; an arcade game. Gradius doesn't allow for player expression. You just get good at knowing the best path and keep doing it over and over until you have the highest score. Obviously it's fine if you just plainly don't like it or don't think it does the score attack thing very well anyway. I wasn't looking forward to this at all but my brother said it was good so I idly downloaded it from PS+ on Friday and ended up finishing it by Sunday. I really enjoyed it, despite the whatever story and the last few levels doing a thing that I really hate (mechanically, I mean) but I won't talk about it until more people get there. The leaderboards are also a bit of a pain to access/see (why don't games realise they should always be visible on the level select screen?!) so I don't think I'll be playing it as a constant thing but I might dip back into it at some point to shoot stuff. I played a little bit of Velocity Ultra before starting 2X and I think I'll go back and finish that now. The platforming stuff was interesting and having to switch between styles/controls kept it interesting but the ship bits really were the best part.
  12. Nintendo 3DS

I think I had an offensive SwapNote set up for StreetPass so I'm one of the reasons why it closed. Sorry guys.
  13. There are another 3 or 4 Persona spinoffs coming out in the next few months which star Persona 3 and 4 characters. I think you're seeing promo stuff for that. I've not read anything about P5 having old characters returning as a main party, although I would expect some small fan-service.
  14. Life

When I was younger, I had a complete set of the first run on Pokemon cards. My brother and I took our collection to a local shop expecting to be offered thousands of pounds, only to find the guy behind the counter took out the 3 rarest cards and offered us about £20 for them all. We knew they were worth way more so we took our cards back and left. Only I stupidly put the rare cards in my pocket instead of back into our folder and then, later that day, put my trousers in the wash. Should have taken that £20.
