I posted on a podcast/news site for a while about my development process once. At first it was invigorating, but I started spending more time on the articles than the development after a while and the whole thing died. Also, I was using programmer's art, so all my screen shots were just a bunch of lines and smileys.

I like watching his Dota 2 content, but it feels like since he's become obsessed with it that his other content has lessened in quality. However, that Tetris Battle Gaiden stream was brilliant. -

I believe the plan is to start up an East Coast podcast of some sort once they get their third member hired. Maybe a news focused one? -
My interest has waned quickly, I guess that's the problem with playing so much of 3 in prep for 4.

Maybe in some ways, that's commentary as well. In the end, even without the extenuating circumstances, some people are just born to be led.

Maybe you can start a thread in the game development forum here and show it off to Idle Thumbs folks for a little while until you're solid on your writing style and then transition to a public blog?

My wife has had various forms of longer hair for quite a while, but recently she started getting it done short with a shaved undercut. She loves not having to fight with it every day.

I usually have mine shaved to 3/4 an inch with tapered back and sides. A really skilled barber can do the entire thing with an electric clipper, including around the ears in around 10-15 minutes. If the barber uses scissors, it can take up to 30.

I have not watched it yet, but my experience starting a role playing group with new people is pretty squirm inducing already, so I can only imagine what filming it would be like. I ended up giving up because it would never be quite like what it was like with my high school friends, bur Rorie is willing to soldier on and that's awesome. -
Work has either improved, or I'm just managing the crappiness better, so at least I'm not super depressed anymore. Our lease on our current apartment is up sooner than I expected but, rather than meekly accepting the raise in rent, I stepped up and complained about some of the issues we've had with the place and they seem willing to negotiate so that's cool. So yeah, looking up

Is this meant to be a replacement for the "An email I sent to Giantbomb[sic]" thread then? I thought we were keeping the GB talk fairly confined to there, but I apologize if I've been cluttering up other threads with it. I'm a huge fan of theirs, and it's their podcast that eventually lead me to here, so I think about them a lot. On topic, Danny is pretty much my favorite GB cast member now, but part of that is his occasional appearances. If he were there all the time it wouldn't be quite as special. -
It's weird that it worked so well for me at the time, but looking back it's so clumsy. I guess it's a credit to the animators that they can strike an emotional note in me that completely bypasses my logical mind realizing how faff it all is.

I don't think that "poorly" in this case implies that the hider intended to do better, I think it's more a comparison to what a reasonable person would consider to be sufficiently hidden.

Yeah, by the time I got to the end of DA:O, i didn't feel like playing any more, so I never touched any of the external DLCs.

I've been debating on it, since I never got to play the originals, but then I installed the Long War mod for XCOM.
