I just watched the Giant Bomb Unprofessional Friday where Dan played this for a while. in that video, he's late in fall, and has already made it to level 95 in the mines, has tons of sprinklers and a huge farm. I guess I've done something horribly wrong, because I've struggled to get past level 20 in the mines, and have had to start buying gold just so I can get some basic farm equipment built. I know it's not a race, but there must be something I'm still not understanding about combat in this game or something.

I can say I'm pretty bummed when I sat down at my caucus that 9 of Washington's 17 superdelegates had already pledged to Hillary. At least pretend to wait until you hear the popular vote before you make your decision. For reference, here are the sate-wide totals: Statewide Totals from http://www.wa-democrats.org/caucus-results Hillary: 7138 Bernie: 19135 Undecided 43 Other: 0 Total: 26316 Related article from a local (generally well liked) opinion site: http://www.thestranger.com/slog/2016/03/29/23877594/washington-superdelegates-still-endorsing-clinton-spurning-pro-bernie-majority-of-state-voters

I get caught in feeling weird obiligations about my hobbies, to the point of making pile of shame lists and tracking the number of games I buy and beat. In the good times, it can be a really useful tool to not forget those games that I really liked but are in danger of falling through the cracks, as well as a good budget tool. In the bad times I end up flogging myself with those lists. I happy to say that I've been list free (in my hobbies at least) for a couple of months now. If I ever feel the need to compile something like that, there are so many ways of figuring out my purchase history, I can always build backwards if I need to.

Have they announced a date for the GECK to be officially out? I know people have been hacking together mods using the Skyrim mod kit, but I'd love to start seeing some official stuff out there.

Hmm, ok, so I can eventually get hearts up just by talking to people, that's good to know.

An Index fund is an account you pay into that buys a selection of stocks (a large variety) and manages which ones come and go each year. It has the advantage of not losing all of your money if one stock tanks, but also you're not going to gain a ton of money if one stock excels.

I only got to tune in for a little bit (looking forward to the VoD) but the frame rate on some of the stuff Dan was looking at was pretty lousy looking. I wonder if it was only on the stream, the second video output, or if the headset was showing the same unevenness. That seems like an issue if it's on the headset.

Hmm, I guess I should just look up the list of optimal gifts then because I'm tired of giving up valuable items just to get a meh from someone.

I guess there must be more depth in the socialization stuff then I've seen, because none of the characters besides the homeless guy seem interesting in the slightest.

No Arcade mode in the patch?

I'm still behind too, so maybe it changes later.

My 401k has grown precisely 1% in the last year, so *shrug* it might not be that much better.

I've heard the other McElroys complaining that they want to get with the action on more than one occasion, so I think he's just playing to the players.

My original play through was on iPad. There are hacky ways to get the save from an iPad onto a Mac, but PC users appear to be out of luck. I'm not sure if I really want to buy and play the original again on PC though. I'm hoping that they have some sort of "enter your choices" setting or something, but it appears that I'll be out of luck.

I should also mention that while a bit crowded and disorganized, my caucus was "good enough" and didn't have problems near as bad neonrev is talking about.

The democratic party here in Washington picked up the bill to rent the school we were in, and most of the folks there were volunteers. I don't think it's until the next round that the state picks up the tab.

Ended up getting out to the Democratic Caucus this morning. It was pretty unorganized and it was obvious they weren't expecting the turnout they got. Votes in our presinct were split two thirds for Sanders, which sounded like it was pretty typical in the rest of the room. Still, heard a couple of pretty passionate off-the-cuff speeches for Hilary from our little group. No votes really changed, but it would have taken a heck of a shift to actually change the delegates anyway.

Washington caucuses are tomorrow. The first time that I can remember that the decision hadn't already been made by the time it came around to us. I'm kinda curious to go, but also weary that it's going to take all day because man folks like to talk around here.

Thanks for the explanation Chris. I too am really curious how "the sausage is made"

Yeah, maybe I should give up on not save scumming. It just feels like then there aren't any consequences for anything you do, besides the waste of time having to re-do things.

I imagine that the unreasonably complicated user tracks are coming. From what Jeff showed in the Quicklook, you can do some pretty tricky stuff once you get out of beginner mode.

Dark Souls 3 {Dark souls 2 successor [Dark Souls successor (Demon's Souls successor)]} (Bloodborne's something)

I guess I'm just curious at this point if the PC version is going to be as crashy as it looked on stream. -
You can see a screenshot of that in the GB Witness Spoiler video, not sure where it was actually taken in the game though.

That's why I'm so hesitant to play in Iron Man mode in these games, even though I try to stick to Ironman rules. On another note, rookie has been ridiculously easy so far. I feel like there needs to be an in-between difficulty.
