  1. Batman Origins

Man, I loved the end of Arkham City.
  2. I haven't used that functionality since the first couple years of the X360, but I still think it bites that they excluded it just to push their own music service.
  3. It would be nice to just be able to export a video file and put it wherever the hell you want.
  4. That's what I meant by "Console Exclusive." Now I'll have to see if I can upgrade my PC in time, or if I'll finally break and get an X1. Edit: That's nice that the PS4 is going to be the same price in US and Canada. It's about damn time, the dollars have been more or less in parity for quite some time. Edit 2: Did we already know the hard drive specs? Dissapointing that they pulled the drive from a 6 year old Toshiba to throw in there. Edit 3: PS Move controllers from the PS3 will work on PS4 as well.... interesting.
  5. Oooh, Titanfall as a console exclusive to Xbox is a big grab for Microsoft. That's pretty much one of two next gen properties that really intrests me at the moment.
  6. Pokémon X and Y

...I could swear I read something about that somewhere, but all I can find is some Pokemon Tap game released a couple of years ago, so I guess I'm crazy. Edit: Maybe I was thinking of this Pokemon TV app thing: http://www.examiner.com/article/free-pokemon-tv-app-for-iphone-ipad-ipod-touch-android-smartphones
  7. Batman Origins

One of my friends on another forum has had his save corrupt twice. : ( That being said, I watched the fight with Deathstroke on Giant Bomb and I really dug the way they put that whole sequence together.
  8. Idle Explorers (Spelunky, um, thumbs)

I had no idea that there was a walk/run mechanic in this. That makes gameplay a lot more difficult. Also, yay for watching daily challenge video on a level I've actually tried for the first time.
  9. I love every one of you

    Well that's assuming a lot.
  10. Life

It's not bad to ask for news about once or twice a week. It shows you are enthusiastic for the position.
  11. Pokémon X and Y

I thought they wanted you to use the smart phone app for that now?
  12. Dark Souls(Demon's Souls successor)

Man, I looked up a couple of the NPC storylines because I didn't want to screw up and miss a large section of the story like I did with Lautrec.
  13. We've had a lot of luck with Hybrid drives here at my work. Small SSD for caching built onto a regular spindle drive. I have no knowledge of this specific drive, but something like this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178381
  14. Spelunky!

I broke and bought this, I'm not very good at it.
  15. Dark Souls(Demon's Souls successor)

There are archers. They aren't as bad as everyone says (they aren't exactly a picnic either though.) To tell the truth, I wish that I hadn't read quite as much as I have. I didn't exactly watch every second of those Giant Bomb streams, just kinda had them running off to the side, but knowing about the tricky rooms and bosses ahead of time is a bit of a dissapointment.
  16. Dark Souls(Demon's Souls successor)

Finished up the Duke's Archives today. Now I'm going to start in on the DLC. I ruined a bit of the surprise of some of the end areas by watching the Giant Bomb streams, but this will be all new stuff again. I can't wait.
  17. That looks great to me. I'm tempted to buy one for myself.
  18. Spelunky!

Oooh, but I'm not sure if I need yet another game right now. I assume it'll probably be on sale for Christmas at some point as well.
  19. Life

He was a fire red dwarf gourami. I don't have any pictures on me at the moment, but he looked similar to http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=830+882+974&pcatid=974
  20. These days, I don't think you really need an expensive build to run games well. A midrange i5 or i7 processor in the 4000 series should do you (i7 4770 seems to be a popular hit on Amazon.) Start with 8gb of RAM but make sure you leave some open slots to expand. I perfer Nvidia video cards, 760 or 770 are both nice, depending on how each fits with the price of the rest of your build.
  21. Life

Minor on the scale of things that people usually talk about on this thread, but one of my fish died today. He's was the largest in my tank and by far had the most personality, even if that personality was often grumpy and agressive. I even got him to eat out of my hand once in a while. It's kind of a relief as his behavior was keeping me from being able to buy any more fish of other types, but it also sucks too. Worst of it is that I'm pretty sure it's my fault for either the tank neglect that I just spent a couple of weeks cleaning up, or the 50% possibility I got a little bit of clothes washing detergent in the tanks from my hands when doing said cleaning up. : (
  22. Plants vs Zombies 2: It's About Time

I'm not a huge fan of the PvZ mechanics, but I was having fun enough playing it until I lost a chunk of progress during the iOS update. I felt that the extra star challenges on levels made them unique enough to not feel like a repeat and I would say that people who pay their way through to the next level are missing out on a lot of fun. I've never felt like I needed to buy a plant to continue, and they surfaced each area of the market only once or twice, not near the amount I was afraid they would.
  23. Dark Souls(Demon's Souls successor)

Since the world kind of exists at all times at once, I assumed that all these important events are being pulled from different times and all happening around you as the world tries to shape you into the chosen undead. I like it because every person you talk to feels important, even those who aren't, and you never know what action or inaction is going to come back to bite you later. Skyrim gave me the feeling that nothing was really important, that things would just continue on regardless of my stupidity. Both are entertaining in their own ways, mind you, but I'm enjoying Dark Souls's take on things at the moment. Edit: Also, I think any "ordinary" people probably went hallow a long time ago, leaving only the extraordinary souls still alive to talk to.
  24. Life

Oh, good. I was going to see if I could dig you out an old videocard, but it certainly wouldn't have been anything as new as that.
  25. There's a lot of really interesting choice in out-of-turn decisions if you're playing the colors that specialize in those things (mostly blue, a little red and black.) Most of my fun in magic revolved around deciding if this spell was worth counter-spelling or that attacking creature was worth killing, or if I could wait until next turn and get more bang for my buck. That being said, playing MtG online against other players takes a while, and I've always found the interface annoying because it has to present to you so much information and give you so many options for interraction. It feels to me that there should be some sort of middle ground between Hearthstone and MtG where I have something to do during the opponent's turn, but not something so complicated it's going to double the turn length.
