It's hardest to take those tests when you've been doing it for years. The longer I'm in IT the harder the certification tests get.

Syntheticgerbil, thanks to your story I hopped onto Amazon to see if I could still get a copy of these comics, but then I saw that the complete Mel Brooks collection on Blu-Ray is on sale right now for $22.00. The Sam and Max books are pretty costly and I'll have to wait on them, but you have enabled me to relive my childhood in a whole different way. PS: There is also a Sam and Max cartoon series that I didn't know about. Is it any good?

Dang it, I can't believe I missed that explosive at the start three times when everyone else seems to have gotten it on shot one.

At one point my backlog totaled more than 200. I simply had to go through my whole list and uninstall/sell back games that I really had no intrest in playing. I still have around about 100 though. Something that's really helped me this year is to aim for a "Completed Games/Purchased Games" ratio greater than one. It's led me to look at some of the Steam sales or Humble Bundle deals and think "Do I really need to set back my goal by 5 games? Will I ever play those games?" Unfortunately, I also picked up a PS3 which has destroyed my ratio what with all the free PS-Plus games and also buying the whole Infamous and Uncharter serieses.

I liked what I played of Contrast, I wonder what it did to merit the description disasterous. I need to get a copy of XCOM for PC. I don't really feel like firing up my X360 and buying the expansion there.

Server crashes were much reduced by the server patch last week. The rumor is there will be a client patch this week that should take care of a lot of those issues. I guess we'll see. Edit: Looks like there might be some more info at http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2955065217944685108/ but Battlelog is blocked at work so I can't verify.

I think that would be a poor decision, if for no other reason than having a presense in a bunch of different areas means you can cross-advertise.

I'm a bit put-off by it, but I also ended up reading a lot of the sensationalist articles that came out around the time of the initial release. I've never played the game myself.

Remember that dodging over an enemies head continues your combo, so if you're running low on enemies you can buy some time for people to stand up.

Hmm that might be it. I put down structures with abilities like "! energy, 1 faerie: Gain 1 gold and 1 card" and I couldn't get it to trigger for the life of me. I'll try what you said, but I'm out of quests to try it in so I guess I'll have to do it in a live game.

Extra battery life would definitely be nice. I'm not sure if that touch screen would be good enough for art, even with a nice pressure sensitive stylus, but I'm not the expert in that. One thing that struck me about a lot of the cheaper models of tablets is that the screens looked really plain and washed out. Obviously, it depends on if you notice these things or not.
