I was really into the art style and concept when I saw it at PAX, then the gore started and I'm a wimp.

I've had good luck just buying books and working through them, rather than taking a real class, but I suppose that's up to learning style. I guess the real question is how much will it cost and what would you be doing with that time if you weren't taking the class.

Fez might be in my top 10 games of all time, and that's just playing it now for the first time. I can't imagine what it would have been like to be there at the start.

I liked 80 days a lot. My wife is crazily obsessed with it, has put about 20 hours in, and has been known to sketch fan art. The Room Two is the only other one on the list I've played, and if you're interested you've probably already played The Room, so you know what you're getting. Personally, I'd get Device 6 over either of The Room games, but they're all really great.

I like that mushroom one.

I bought the first three for my wife, so I found it helpful at least.

Extensive reading after posting showed me that they started randomizing the tiles on the map, but left the unfinished ones in the rotation so you could go right outside London and find an unfinished section with no islands at all, and then all the useful stuff further out. Furthermore, they didn't change up any of the missions, so something that says it's right outside home waters could be across the map now and there's no way to drop the mission and get another. Finally, I chose to pass my map on after I died, but then I never got any secrets on my second play because you don't get points for discovering anything that's already on your map.It looks like I just joined at a really bad time. Since the randomization is fairly fresh, a lot of the information out there in forums and wikis about the locations of things are all wrong. People are passing around older non-randomized saves because the developer has refused to add a randomize y/n check. I guess that's the danger of early access.

I watched the GB video on the way to work today and I went back and forth several times on whether it would be worth the money or not. I'm still intrigued, but I think I'll wait for reviews and go from there. As a side note, this might be the first time this decade that I've cared about reviews for a game.

Awesome, they don't even know what really happened and the camera was off. Yay.

You can't really judge a job because it might be a let down in the long run. A lot of things can change in a job for the better or for the worse and they're tough to predict. To me it sounds like you're trying to justify staying in your comfort zone at your current company when the new job sounds pretty cool.

This weekend I beat Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall - Director's Cut. I backed the Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter and was pretty happy with the original game, but man Dragonfall is a step up. They've got some actual team members with personality, choices that are actually pretty difficult and make a difference for the ending, and improved combat mechanics in a lot of small ways that combine together to make fighting feel a lot smoother. It's well worth purchasing if you're at all interested, and it's standalone now so you don't even have to buy the whole package. You haven't missed it yet. https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly

I decided to buy it anyway, and it seems like it could be really awesome, but it's missing a lot of the niceties that really make it playable for a first time player. For instance, I was given a starting quest in London to go meet with a contact in Mt. Palmerston "somewhere near the home seas." I explored what I thought was the entire available map, because if I ventured any further from the main coast I got nice little pop-ups that this area of the game wasn't finished yet. It turns out the place I needed to go was way past the area that's not completed, out in the middle of the sea where no starting player really would have a hope of getting to, let alone having enough fuel to get back. Even with directions from the forum where to find it, i still never ran into it. So yeah, great mechanics, but a ton of balancing needed before I'd call it fun.

The newest build allows 8 people to play at once. It's pandemonium.

I haven't seen one of those, I think I may have to start a business. Even better, we can make a + shaped building with the bar in the middle, arcade on one side, laundromat on the other, and one of those stupid dog grooming places at the top.

I didn't realize that Sunless Sea was Early Access, I was pretty much sold on buying it this weekend, but maybe I'll wait until it releases.

Around Seattle, I have a wide variety of bar/pub choices that run the gammut from loud to intimate. Of course it also depends on when you go.

It's not too bad, just bring a book or take a nice walk with a timer on your phone to remind you.

I loved the multiplayer. The singleplayer gameplay was inoffensive, so I guess that's agood.

It's been a while since I've been interested in a Humble Bundle. Unfortunately, they don't work well into my backlog reducing goal of beating more games than I purchase. Maybe I can buy it for my wife instead.

Right, but if it's a list of games "you intentially didn't buy" those are ripe for flagging as not interested.

The core story of ME3 is pretty shit (not "the shit") however many of the smaller tales they tell are still really awesome. The different ways that the Geth/Quarian story can end are awesome. Also, you get to go out on a real date with Garrus. Edit: All this remind me that I got stuck about half way through my last play through of ME2 to play the rest of the DLC and 100% the achievements. After that, play through the ME3 DLC and see the new ending.

I was planning on picking it up on PC since I don't have a current gen console, but money got tight and all my friends who were going to get it got it on the Xbone. I still have a copy of PES2014 that I got for free from PSPlus, so might just play that and pretend really hard.

That may be a better game.

Ah, well that makes sense then.

I haven't watched it, but "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" I'd guess?
