Yeah, I'd say it is decent. It doesn't really beat 2017 in anything but pure looks, but it's fine enough. At least as long as you play with a buddy. Preferably your first and best buddy. Edit: I am referencing Insect Armageddon of course.

I WANT IT!

Hmm... Anyone know any good place to host these images?

Have to shill a bit for a game that one of my mates did the sound/music for Swords & Arrows - An Advance Wars-alike with a medieval theme. It's free with the possibility to pay to disable ads. Check it out: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/swords-arrows/id560917620?mt=8

I'm joining in on the project too! First image should arrive tomorrow. I had forgotten how fun this was.

I also use a MS-based email account. Mainly because my gmail-account with the same name got hacked, but also because everytime I went to make a new gmail account they wanted my phone-number. :/

The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)

The title of that video made me think it was this song -
I love the idea as well. And I guess it'll make me use my wacom again as I don't have access to any scanner.

Nah, it was an american singer/songwriter called Jenny Owen Youngs. That does sound awesome. I wish my dreams were consistent enough to keep a solid theme like that

I love these Murakami covers!

Not a recent dream, but it's the latest one I remember. I was in some kind of summerhouse situated along the bank of a broad river, sand all around it. Near the bank was this very small strip of sand standing up from the water like a miniscule island. The sun was shining in a way that it very seldom does here in Sweden which made me unsure of where I actually was. I believe I was jumping back and forth between the bank and the sand island when suddenly a singer I really like turns up, riding a bicycle made from a stuffed horse. I was at first delighted to hang out with her but then two other young men showed up and she wanted to be with them instead. And I was sad. The end.

The fact that this occurs even without physical torture should call any information gained from torture into question really. There was a controversial case here in Sweden where the police detained and questioned a 20 year old man for about 2 months for the murder of his girlfriend. At the end of it he started to believe he was mentally insane and that he actually had done it. During that time the real killer had time to go kill another woman. I won't go into any details, but the whole case was just a monumental fuck-up by the local Swedish police who had a chance to arrest the culprit within maybe an hour after the first murder if they had only listened to the witness accounts of the man and his sister. But they were so sure it was him that they didn't even bother.

So the new Need for Speed is the spiritual successor to Blur?

Obligatory Comical YouTube Thread II: The Fall of YouTube
Apelsin replied to pabosher's topic in Idle Banter
I don't think I've seen more than one or two safety videos ever. It was on Swedish television, during a segment called "Anslagstavlan" (The bulletin/notice board). They had a few videos from a non-profit organisation which featured eggs ending up in trouble in the water. -

I want this sooo bad! -
I'm sure that can be arranged! Hell, if you had come to Lidköping (Where I work) this weekend you could've met Carl Philip Bernadotte, the prince who is also a race car driver.
-
You should come to Göteborg instead. Friendly hatred for our fair capital city aside, I have to say it's quite a beautiful city. Unfortunately I have not really visited the city enough to give much advice on what to see. I have to agree that Gamla staden (The Old Town) is very beautiful but might be crowded by other people. As for video game stuff, you could always try to get into one of the offices of either DICE or Avalanche!

Yeah, it was a bit much. I prefer the parts of the games where I don't have to juggle all those different characters. Still a good game though, felt a bit easier than the two that came before it.

Wait what? NOT drinking alcohol is bad for you?

It's definitely a possibility. Question is how you will interact with the world in this first half. Will they make up entirely new mechanics for this expansion or will it just be like the opening of the game proper (not that it wasn't good)?
