  1. Idle Thumbs 107: GIANTBOMB.COM

I've already got the perfect solution for the pickle flipping. Just set up two complete systems on opposite sides of the room. The second jailbreaked XBone detects when the first wants you to flip your pickle, or shout 'McDonalds', and happlily complies. No need to get up off the couch! Ingenious!
  2. Idle Thumbs 105: XCOM Obama

Risk Legacy, so good, though difficult to discuss after the 12 games our group has played. Like StarSeed Pilgrim and CandyBox, much of the experience is tied to the discovery in opening those sealed packages. I'm looking forward to Rob's next legacy style game, which I believe will be published by Plaid Hat Games. No details as of yet, sadly. Psychology Experiment Disguised as Minor Risk Legacy Spoiler:
  3. Episode 209: Desktop to Tabletop

Great episode guys, thanks. Loved Paul's stories and insights.
  4. Episode 201: Best of the Guests 2012

I'm saddened to hear the Battle of the Bulge hasn't been selling all that well. I picked it up this weekend, and it really is quite a gem. I got my iPad earlier this year and there hasn't been that many great strategy games. Most of the purchases I've made over the past year were card and board game conversions. I'm curious if there isn't much of a market for these types of games on iOS, or if there may be a growing niche market that is just not aware that these games even exist. There are not a lot of ways to get news about the release of such titles to the target market. Pocket Tactics is the only web site I'm aware of that focuses on deeper iOS strategy games. Interestingly, Touch Arcade just posted their review of Battle of the Bulge yesterday. I wonder if it has caused much of a bump in sales.
  5. New people: Read this, say hi.

Hello! Long time listener of Three Moves ahead, I started listening to Idle Thumbs a few months ago. At first the farting noises were a bit perplexing, but recently my 3 year old has come to think that 'strawberries' as she calls them are the most hilrious thing ever, and as a result they now seem cute and endearing. Thanks for all the great podcasts. Looking forward to more in the new year.
  6. Episode 200: Tapping Past Bastogne

Indeed. The music made me laugh out aloud, at work. My pod peoples are giving me strange looks, again. I haven't had a chance to try out Battle of the Bulge for the iPad yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
