This article sums up my feelings nicely. I've done gruntwork like this before, and in so many positions at retail and call center jobs, you absolutely can and will be punished for giving someone "good" customer service.

Also, right now the only franchise that has more playable character representation than Fire Emblem in the new Smash Bros. is Mario. Fire Emblem is on the same tier as Zelda and Pokémon. What the hell.

I remember back when I read Nintendo Power I saw a full-page ad where they had reprinted a Rayman 2 advertisement but with a bunch of Rabbids tearing through and screaming. I can not think of a better metaphor for the trajectory that Rayman took last generation.

Does anyone else not like Shovel Knight? I know that it's clearly a well-made game, but the levels are incredibly long for their level of difficulty and I just find the whole experience tedious.

So there's going to be a new character revealed in about twenty minutes, which is rad, but will also likely overshadow this: Today's update was that Rayman is a trophy. What a weird thing to include, unless there's a Ubisoft character coming that we don't know about yet.

I had a dream last night that I had reached new standards of poverty. I lived in a big empty apartment with no food, but I had figured out that I could fry and eat these huge spiders the size of a frying pan that lived in the building. I could only catch about one a day because they were so fast, and they were thoroughly unpleasant to eat.

Two things: 1) I think this is the first time someone on the podcast has made the "that's the name of the episode" joke and then had it actually be the episode title. 2) Lupin being a werewolf is the worst fucking plot twist. His name is Lupin.

I can't sleep at all lately, and I've got a lot of unresolved anger issues bringing me down. Life is crap.
