I got the woodgrain one because it was two dollars and I am weak. It doesn't look so great in person. Also, the home menu now has twice as many spaces for stuff, so now I'm only at a quarter of the way to filling it instead of half. They're part of a firmware update for all 3DS systems that just went live, though the themes are clearly meant to complement the new 3DS' faceplates, such as this woodgrain one (made from actual wood).

Micro only and no maximum. I just have a whole shitload of digital games because I refuse to buy things physically anymore.

I want one and also am terrified.

Wooooooo!

Buying a ludicrously high-capacity microSD card when the New 3DS rolls around is gonna be a bummer for me.

I've done all I can here.

goddamnit you assholes stop trying to tempt me

Layton preachin' it to Phoenix Wright. Capcom really overselling Megaman Battle Network as the next big collect-em-up handheld RPG.

Dracula: Dead and Loving It is pretty terrible and draws a lot from Bram Stoker's Dracula instead of the original. Maybe consider swapping the two weekends so you can go out with a bang? Or watch Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein, which prominently features Dracula as the villain, played by Bela Lugosi in the only film besides the original where he reprised his most famous role.

I'm pretty sure that was mentioned in an older episode. Scary evil modern example: EA had to change a "random" prize wheel in The Simpsons: Tapped Out last year because it was deliberately designed to give the impression that it was random and that the player had an equal chance of all possible outcomes, but was in actuality heavily weighted against the player. It's still heavily weighted against the player, but no longer to the point of "an actual prize wheel at a carnival wouldn't cheat this blatantly."

I came here to post about just that! You skipped the part where fucking Ryan North and Erica Henderson are the ones making it.

I'd make one if I knew how to make one and played anything besides Nintendo games. (I'd do one that was only boss and battle themes)

Know what ELSE you should be watching? Man, everyone looked weird in the pilot.

I might have found a potential artistic job! I'll need to put together some portfolio pieces though, and I dunno how it pays (though there is a checkbox for full-time availability). I won't get into it, but I'd be basically getting paid for something I already do for free and would almost certainly lead to commissions. Chances are I'd still have to take a shitty part-time job or change apartments though; I dunno. Also, my birthday's comin' up! It's in early November. I think I'm gonna buy myself something nice if I have a job by then. If anyone wants to do me a solid, I have an amazon wishlist that I continuously update. I've been hesitating on whether I should post it again or not, but a few people here helped me out last year with birthday and Christmas stuff since these forums are kind of the closest thing I have to family and friends. I think I'm okay with doing it again just so long as nobody feels obligated? I don't know.

Yeah, you`re not gonna get a good picture of the show from just one or two episodes. I'd say just go from the start and stick with it for a while.

It's weird that there was this brief period from like the mid-eighties to the early nineties where executives actually wanted more minority representation (and usually overcompensated and made their cast look like the Burger King Kids Club).
-
It came out two years after E.T., an era when kids allegedly loved creepy, ugly, overly-detailed old-man faces on characters.

This is literally the only thing I can associate with Sherlock Holmes video games. EDIT: Wait, these are the same games?! Mind blown.

The legend lives on.

I hope you all appreciate that I specifically chose "holy crap" over "holy shit" for the thread title.

Sakurai also really likes Kirby, to the extent that he created and provides the voice of King Dedede ...which is probably why Subspace Emissary had Dedede save the day and an extensive sequence where you can only play as Kirby.
