Oh man, I just finished it (thank you toblix for gifting it to me!). I'm just gonna' say a couple of things: Technical stuff: Bein' a butt: And a personal thing: All in all, this game

I ended up playing through every part of the Mario & Luigi 4 demo in one go. ...Goddamnit, I really want this game.

I finished it! Finished it and liked it! A lot! 1) I really like that it stays internally consistent with the rules, even when you're not sure exactly what the rules are. Just about everything that seems confusing or out of place is eventually clarified. 2) I am so glad that they didn't draw out the initial hackeneyed red herring plot of for more than like two episodes. 3) the last two episodes have a little bit too much of 4) Mei's Rei Ayanami level of detachment sometimes got on my nerves. Like there are times when moving at walking speed just is not appropriate.

So I started watching Another last night; a sort of suspense thriller series. As of episode 5 (where the actual hook of the series finally becomes clear); I'm really, really liking it. Unfortunately just about everything is a spoiler sooooo...

oh gooood why does this keep happeniiiiiing Two nights ago: I'm an extra in a faux-documentary style horror movie about a fairly large group of people exploring a snowy forest and being picked off by a monster nobody ever gets a good look at. There actually is a monster, but everyone else with me laughs it off and assumes it's just part of the movie (except the dogs, which constantly turn to specific shadows deeper in the woods and growl unflinchingly). Last night: I'm asleep in a bed I don't recognize and groggily wake up to find someone standing over me with a knife whispering something. I can't see their face, but immediately recognize them as my brother for some reason. Waking up scares him off, but the rest of the dream is basically me worrying about getting murdered and also arguing with my mom about the fact that he was clearly trying to kill me and should go to jail when she insists that it doesn't count because he didn't actually kill me. It's pretty much the dream version of my real-life argument with her about my dad stealing from me. All these bad dreams are going to kill me. I need a hug, and a teddy bear to sleep with. @n@

Seeing that Mario painting really makes me want to brush up (ehehehe) on my painting skills. And I love the Papers, Please book. So good. I saw that some really horribly racist, transphobic, homophobic, sext etc person started following my tumblr; so I immediately whipped up some quick Mainichi fanart so it would show up in their dashboard. This would be a good time to do the Kindness Coins picture I've been putting off forever too.

It's kind of weird that they would do Metroid Prime, since it seems like they messed up the Xenoblade box, and Metroid Prime only came in a steelbook. Gotta' say, I'm suddenly pretty pleased with myself for buying the Wii Metroid Prime release on impulse back when I barely knew what Metroid was.

Either way I'll bet Nintendo is kicking themselves for repeatedly asserting that nobody in North America would want to play Xenoblade.
