So Twitch beat Pokémon in the early hours of this morning.

Persona 5 - 2015 the year of the PS3 / Persona Q - 3DS

Personally I think the weirdest thing that Atlus ever did with the Persona 4 brand was the cafe they did a few years back. Check out the drinks menu: Kanji's is genius. It's a super dark rum-and-coke-looking deal that's actually got a super sweet fruity taste. -
The other one got pushed to somewhere in the video game forum and I never remember to check it.

The Business Side of Video (Space) Games EXCLUSIVELY ON IDLE THUMBS
tegan replied to Henroid's topic in Video Gaming
You can upload from Gen V into Bank, and from Gen IV into Gen V, so none of the Pokémon themselves will be lost, but it means that people who want to play with Gen IV or V rules online will now be forced to use battle simulators instead of the real deal. -
I will say that I'm disappointed that everyone prefers Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing over Beetle Adventure Racing.

I want Jake to teach me how to Mario 3. I decided to play a little of the GBA version while I was listening to the cast this morning, and it just left me feeling frustrated.

The Business Side of Video (Space) Games EXCLUSIVELY ON IDLE THUMBS

Nintendo Wi-Fi connection is going to be discontinued on May 20th of this year, which means that Wii and DS online features will stop working, although stuff like the Wii and DSi shops will remain available. I guess it's to be expected, but it's going to be a clusterfuck when the online functionality for two entire generations of Pokémon games finally goes down. -
What if Gearbox thought that when they bought the rights to Duke Nukem Forever, they thought they had bought the rights to the Duke Nukem IP indefinitely?

I finished Broken Age! Call me raspberry jam, 'cause I'm on a roll! Really excited to see part 2. I'm bouncing around all sorts of theories for what's going on with the two different stories.

So there's a new trailer out for the new Godzilla movie. I'm optimistic about this one. It's no secret that I love the original Godzilla, and it's a fascinating movie primarily because it serves as a time capsule for the place and time in which it was made. It made sense that the 1998 American version could never have captured the spirit of the original, because the original was made by a Japan only just recovering from the effects of a disaster the likes of which they had never known before and struggling to express a feeling of fear and helplessness. Only now in a post-9/11 world does it feel like America is in the place and time to do the same. Director Gareth Edwards' previous film Monsters showed just how capable of making a politically-scented horror movie he was, and the initial teaser for Godzilla , which featured audio of Oppenehimer famously quoting the Bhagavad Gita after the first atomic bomb test, immediately sold me on his ability to do the same here. I really hope it doesn't suck.

Ouran stands out because it's a show about the popular boys trying to get the unpopular girl to notice them and not the other way around. Also because Haruhi befriends them by not being a doormat willing to put up with their bullshit.

I like how that caiman just doesn't care about the lady behind it.

I'm gonna' watch Ghostbusters tonight now that this has happened.

I have something of an unending hatred for the Donkey Kong series. I know that they're mostly perfectly serviceable platformers; but all of the characters are soulless and ugly, they all seem to be crammed full of collectibles, and the jungle aesthetic is pretty boring to me.

I keep having nightmares about my family.

Two in one night! I just beat the last ever Sam & Max chapter. *sniffle*

I played through Thomas Was Alone in two nights on my Vita. Wow. Really impressive that they managed to pack so much fascinating and varied characterization into a bunch of little rectangles. I can see this existing as some Newgrounds platformer with techno music and no narration but otherwise being identical, and it wouldn't 1% as brilliant.

There's more to do in the postgame, but it pretty much all involves playing the card game over and over so I kind of stopped too. I didn't want such a wonderful experience to be soured.

It's so great. Let me know what you think when you're finished with it.
