There's a guy with rifles, a knife, and a crossbow running around just uptown from where I am. Police from all over the province are rolling in, one of the main roads was shut down, and there's helicopters patrolling that part of town. Sounds like he's killed two officers and a K9 so far. He was last seen incredibly close to my friend's house, headed in the direction of my part of town. Eep.

I personally hated it, to the point where I skipped MK7 altogether because I figured it would be just as terrible. Mario Kart DS was the shit though. I liked to play as ROB.

I'd say so. The last boss isn't so bad once you accept that it's going to take several in-game days to beat it. Use Brittany to lead a team of 10 Flying Pikmin carrying Olimar around in a loop of the environment using the "Go Here" function of the map while Alph and Charlie take a buttload of other Pikmin and clear out all the environmental puzzles. The combat portion mostly involves hammering the boss and then destroying the pieces that fall off while avoiding elemental attacks.
