Is the title an Immortal reference? -
Now that I've thought about it some more, my biggest problem with the movie is

Yesterday I heard someone's phone ring with a sound effect from a game. I can still hear it in my head but I can't place it! Gahh. Time to play every game I own I guess. edit: wait! I think I figured it out, it's the level up sound from KotOR.

Agree with everything you said. Big spoilers:

It's interesting to look back at 2007. Crytek released Crysis and CDProject Red The Witcher. Cyrtek was clearly a higher profile studio at the time. While both games did fairly well, the two companies took entirely different trajectories. Crytek complained loudly about piracy and the death of PC exclusive games and opened up several new offices. CDP on the other hand spent a year supporting their old game and gradually building a following. Then in 2011 they both released their sequels. Crytek did a a multi-platform follow up that was in my opinion quite a compromised experience that felt desperate to reach a wider audience while giving up its original one. CDP did a DRM free, very ambitious PC exclusive RPG. From there they diverged even further, Crytek on the verge of bankruptcy and CDP stealing Bethesda's cake! Even in 2007, listening to Cevat Yerli you could smell their bullshit. In hindsight I'm not surprised things they ended up they did.

Well, I imagine there'll be a lot of discussion and it gets annoying to have all of it tagged I think. Plus, weren't we supposed to make more new threads? Anyway, I saw the movie. The trailers did nothing for me and I wasn't particularly excited. I liked it more than I thought I would, but at the same time it had all the problems I expected it to have too. Things I suspect most people won't see as problems. People who want to like it will. The sequels have potential and might in hindsight make me like this movie more.

Can we talk about the movie here or should we do a new thread?

Is your name John Walker? Joke aside, I don't know if you'll agree, but to me this game feels like playing Sudoku (which I don't enjoy). I only played the first one even though I own all three. While the levels get slightly harder as you go I didn't feel like I was learning anything from the puzzles, they just require you do longer strings of logic. Solving them didn't feel rewarding to me, it was kind of rote.

I can't figure out which of these sentences is correct. I googled them and they have about the same number of hits (it's just an example sentence) "One one of those people who love(s) ..." 3rd person singular or plural?

I have no source for this, but didn't they say they don't have the resources to develop SS3?

I have no idea why I never checked out any of Judas Priest's later stuff, this is the most metal song ever!

I don't have that specific hang-up with the show, but I don't think the "seasons" after the first one have been as good. They simply don't have enough to talk about. The way I feel about it is that none of the other games in the series would've ever spawned the show. I enjoy their guests sometimes though, like Danielle and Steve (and other times, not so much).

I had an interview yesterday and got offered the position five hours later \o/ yay. It's my first proper job.

It's been ages since I played and I was never any good at it. Do you guys use a tileset or stick with ASCII? -
There's apparently a community around that game that passionately argues it's the best driving game either. I would've preferred a histogram tbh
